Wow simple Amazing.
I plan on making a video so you can see why I say simply Amazing.I have had 4 surgeries on my right shoulder and one the left. So I know shoulder pain and instability well. My entire shoulder is broke down and hanging low because of nerve and musicale damage as well as I have torn the labarum and cuff a 5th time. 😱 I said No more surgeries. In fact they told me I should get it replaced. But that is not happening. It gets so inflamed it will locks up when I use it a lot. (I love to roll the bowling ball too!)I have what is called a SICK Shoulder. In simple terms that means it is broke down and it hangs a solid 2 or 3 inches lower on my right than the left. I had purchased this for bowling, but when I put it on and finally figured out how to adjust it then it pulls my shoulder back up in place. The little X strap is what pulls it up and tight when I snug it down. I might use this in some day to day activity as well and see if maybe it will help those muscles and tendons heal back into place some. I am seeing a ortho in a few days to see about getting a hip replaced. (AV Necrosis) (I know I am falling a part at the seams! Thank God for Velcro😂🤣) I plan on taking it and showing him what it does and ask his opinion if he thinks it will help pull that shoulder back up with time. I will let you guys know what he says.I will post the video soon of my shoulder without and with it on. So you can see what it does when I tighten the straps. It is night and day!!!The brace over all is very comfortable and fits nice. I worn it against my skin and bowled 3 games in it tonight and love it. The muscles in my shoulder blade always draw up and hurt when I bowl. Tonight no issue. It actually felt like I had a warm heat pack on that spot as I used it too. I do get sweaty when rolling that rock too. But it wicked it away and never felt wet or gross.I have only used it a few hours so far but it was AMAZING in my eyes. I have had that shoulder hanging low since 2008. So when I say it works I am not lying nor am I someone with minor issues. I have not seen my shoulders that level in 14 years! Anyone who says this will not lift or stabilize a shoulder must of put it on wrong. Plain and simple. My only regret is that I seen this a year ago and decided not to try it then!! 😲 Great ProductIf you have shoulder instability I think you will love this. Best $50 I spent all year so far!!I hope this helps someone,

Best thing for Rotator Cuff tear until surgery can repair shoulder.
I've tried more than a few of these type of non-orthopedic type braces and this one by far is the best quality. The Neoprene is completely finished (so no risk of a tearing after several uses), The size isn't spot on if you wore another brace in say a large you'll wanna go down to small medium. Remember!! as you wear Neoprene type braces they will stretch and kind of break in so to speak, and that is just what this brace does. Yes you'll have to have someone help you adjust it (just the nature of the beast on these type on braces). Here's a few tips that'll help this brace do it's job of compression and medium support. Always line up the middle seam that rests on the shoulder brace right down the middle on the shoulder your using it on (this will properly pull the shoulder back and provide more of a cup around the top of shoulder). Tip #2 Once it's on you and the chest straps are tight (my wife gave me this advise about the bra wiggle technique), go ahead and grab the bottom of the chest support and pull it down and wiggle into it a little to to get it to rest better on your supported shoulder, this will also make it rest closer to your chest better so the X-Strap doesn't pull away from your chest so far. Tip #3 you do not have to pull the X-Strap super tight to get the support you need, trust me it's doing it's job, that strap is the bridge between your shoulder and arm, it works very well to help keep that shoulder supported but also provides the extra little support to keep your arm and shoulder in unison. It's better to wear this under clothes and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Good luck, if you have ? I think you can message me through Amazon.

Good idea, sizing chart would be nice
I was diagnosed with an unstable shoulder years ago. Physical therapy never brought it back to where it needed to be. Recently my hockey teammate seriously injured his shoulder, and as it was previously repaired surgically he will need another surgery. I got a little scared, and decided to try to protect myself better. Enter the Shock Doctor Shoulder Support. The concept is great. The product comes with a nine step how-to on the inside label. Due to the placement of the four velcro pieces on the x-support(two in front, two behind) it's possible to adjust it by yourself, but it's a whole lot easier if you have a friend adjust the back elements. The off-arm side is my only complaint on the design. It has one thin strap and would have been better with a wider strap or perhaps a second one over the off-shoulder for better balance and structure. Of course that would make it bulkier, but a good fit is more important to me, which leads to my next point. My only complaint about the product listing is the lack of sizing information, which is why this is just a three-star review right now. I have a 51" chest, so I ordered the XXL size, designed for 44-52" chests. The support was too large, particularly in the shoulder, which is what we're trying to compress to begin with. I've ordered the XL size, which I hope will fit better. The sizing options can be found at the shock doctor website.I'll be back in a week or two with an update.12/3/12 update -I have yet to receive my smaller size due to logistics issues, however I have found that by folding the chest fabric just so, it can be improvised. While it's not the most comfortable thing in the world, it functions nicely. I've used it for a number of hockey games and have only had one issue with my shoulder since, a result of a rather clumsy self more than anything else. I find myself wearing it regularly, albeit looser than I'd like, as it gives me a lot more stability. While my injury is worsening, the brace surely provides added support. I would recommend having major issues repaired surgically and using this as a support, rather than doing what I'm doing. Regardless, the product is good, just be aware that it runs big on guys.
