I always find a way to do building projects with my husband now. So, these were a perfect project to do together. For the time to put these together. It took us about an hour to put both together. Once you do one. The other one is quicker to put together because you already know how to do it after putting one together. I will say it may of took longer if it was just one person putting them together. About the directions. Building them for us was easy. Directions seemed clear to understand. Everything that we needed to build the raised beds were included. I saw some people saying that they had missing items. We actually noticed they gave us a few extra screws after counting everything the directions said we were supposed to have. About overall build. As I saw others saying. When sliding the bottom boards in. We did notice some gabbing in between where you put the dividers. Which could be an issue for some. This was not really a problem for us because as you can see. We lined the beds with fabric liner. We also think there is a gab because where you are dividing each section. You can keep plants separated that you technically should not plant together. It all depends on how you are planning to use these raised beds. I made sure to companion plant in both beds. To maximize the space. No matter the sides. Everything in each raised bed can thrive together. Also, in case anyone is wondering. We also sealed our raised beds to protect the wood when it rains, when it’s really hot and when it’s really cold. So, that is why our beds have a darker look to them. Would I recommend. Yes, absolutely. I’m not a first time gardener, but this is my first time having raised beds. I chose these because they were elevated. So, it doesn’t put too much stain on my back when gardening. I get that enough with my containers lol. The only negative thing I’ve heard could happen with these beds. Is that the bottoms could cave. I’m praying that doesn’t happen. I’m choosing to take that risk. Overall I love these raised beds, and I’m sure this is just first of many that I will purchase during my garden journey. Happy Gardening.

Taking a chance, I bought four of these long planters. At their current price, that's a lot of money. Overall, 4 stars. Why not 5? Read on. They were delivered a day early, to my surprise. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. Now if you have a workshop and a waist high workbench complete with a couple of clamps and leveling wedges, then this can be a one person job. If all you have is an electric screwdriver and a flathead manual screwdriver, then you WILL need a second person to keep things lined up. You 'may' need a hammer. More on that in a bit. I included a photo of a badly machined lug-nut for one of the screw types. I hate this screw type. Lining up the lug in the hole is hard because of wood dust and/or wood slivers on the bottom hole that can't be seen and you have to clean it out before the thing will line up. They would have been much better off using a wood-tapping large screw to attach the divider instead of this set up. A lot less hassle. Why is it a hassle? Because the wood slats has to line up perfectly three layers deep or you can't get it threaded. Period. Yuck. Got it done, but what a time consuming monster that was. The instructions say 45 minutes to complete. More like 3 hours due to this slightly bad design. Two of the bottom panels were slightly warped. Had to use a little force to get it to fit on the end piece and use a hammer to gently tap it into place. The other panels were straight as an arrow and didn't need 'help' getting to slide down the grooves. Now for the good stuff! I used Thompson Water-Seal that dries clear to water proof the wood after construction was done. That alone will add many more years to its usability, and since I got the longest planter the company makes, at $179 per planter, you want your investment to last as long as possible. The bottom slats are supposed to have gaps in them! Why? Use a garden liner, but in a pinch, normal newspaper works too. Better drainage, much less chance of root rot or other pesky diseases. These tables are sturdy! They're not going to tip over easy, and make sure you have them organized as you desire before filling them with dirt, because once you get to that stage, they're heavy as all get-out, which is expected. Later this year when I save a little more cash, I'll probably buy two more as I wanted six tables total for what I'm going to grow. After assembling 4 tables, I pretty much feel like an expert now, lol, but more realistically, the construction is simple in the process, it's just the dang lining up the slats for the lug nut thing that really messes it up. It's not a deal breaker, just a pain in the butt.

Yes this is what I have been hoping for. I have tried other options but this raises the bar. It allows me to work from waist up and no bending. Ample length and width to accommodate my needs.

We have limited backyard space. I wanted to begin some container gardens but needed something that was high enough off the ground to protect it from our dogs. After ordering the first one, we liked it so much we ordered another. My only regret is that I didn’t apply a sealant before planting (I was anxious to get started!). The other thing I wish I would have done is filled the soil to the top. I filled it 3/4 way, but with all of the rain it could use more - slowly adding. My husband put each of these together in under 30 mins. They were not difficult to assemble. Happy with our purchase(s)!

Assembled it myself in more or less than an hour. I used a power drill. Pretty easy instructions for someone like me who only tried assembling IKEA furnitures lol the quality of wood looks decent for the price. Will update review after we set up our plants. Let’s see how long this one can hold up.
