I bought this umbrella to replace one that I keep in my commuter backpack. Size was very important as I want to keep an umbrella with me all the times but don't want it to take up a lot of space. This umbrella is perfect size in that it fits in a small space but opens large enough to protect me and the backpack on my walk from the train to the office.The umbrella is made of 210T pongee with Teflon so that it dries very quickly. The fiberglass ribbing is very strong and provides a tight, durable stretch that will withstand strong winds very well. Small umbrellas like this don't usually have automatic mechanisms but this one both auto opens and auto closes which is remarkable for such a small and economically priced umbrella. This will be a long lasting accessory that I would highly recommend.Note that I received this umbrella at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. At only $19, this one has quality and built-in extras, that could easily cost double or triple from other manufacturers. One of its best features is that it automatically (at the push of a button) opens ... and also CLOSES !!! It is sturdy, nice sized - making it convenient for getting in and out of doors and cars, but also more than enough coverage to keep your upper body dry.
