Will I need to etch the concrete despite it being ground down with a diamond grinding cup? There's nothing left but clean concrete & water absorbs in.

Etching OR Grinding is fine - the goal is to achieve full porosity. Be warned though that grinding should not produce swirl marks. Often this means switching to a less aggressive size at the end. Stain often accentuates swirl marks in the concrete. Test a small area, if needed.

I cant find slate gray stain Does your company have it?

Yes we have Slate Gray, which is about the same color as concrete. Unfortunately right now we are out of stock due to a national resin shortage. But it should be back in stock by this Thurs 7/15/21.

Is can be use on fire pit or fire place

Generally yes as brick is porous but it would likely depend on what the color of your brick is and what color your trying to stain it

Will this work on mortar joints?

In general, these stains will work well on all POROUS cements, mortars, Saltillo tile, and real stone.
