This works as intended. Simply open the stamp, then apply a few drops of each color to the appropriate side. Others have said this ink goes everywhere, I never had that issue. Still have the ink, and continue to use it to refill my stamps whenever they get dry.

If your intention is to make a mess...and I mean, a real big mess...then try to re-ink a stamp...really...we're talking epic proportion mess! Did it work? Yes...eventually. But there is red and blue ink everywhere! In hind sight, I believe that the mess would have been minimized if I hadn't let the stamp completely dry out. My stamp was dry and hard as a rock...If I had reinked it before drying out, it probably wouldn't have made a mess. But still...this is something that will take several days to do...apply several drops and let sit a day. Then the next day, clean up the mess it made and add more drops and let sit a day....then next day, clean up *THAT* mess and add more drops...not too much, or...well, you guessed it..make a mess! This will take several days to rejuvenate the stamper. Mine eventually began working again...but you know...for the price of this ink and the time and cleanup I spent with this whole thing? It would have been cheaper and quicker to just buy a new stamp...In my neighborhood, Amazon delivers most things next day anyway...this reinking/rejuvenating took more than a week and half a roll of paper towels.
