The dividers are not adjustable, and are not removable.

Q: How many bobbins can fit in the container?

It would depend on how much thread your put on each bobbin. I haven't filled mine yet, but the compartments hold different numbers of bobbins depending on the amount of thread I have on them.

No - it does not come with plastic bobbins. It does come with fifty cardboard bobbins, as advertised.
