Easy to use and clean. Although a little noisy, it takes no time to grind coffee beans both coarse and fine grinds are excellent.The coffee is hot and flavoursome. I would recommend that, as with all new machines a first run or two is without coffee to thoroughly clean all parts of the internal workings.The coffee stays warm for over 30 minutes on the hot plate as well.So far I haven’t used the programmable functionality yet but programming instructions are easy to follow so I will soon.A gateway machine for anyone wanting to try a bean to jug machine. Great value for money. I would highly recommend it for coffee lovers on a tight budget.

Perfect for our needs. Bean grinder a bit loud so if people have bedrooms near the kitchen may not want to use that feature early in the morning. Having said that it isn’t really any louder than other bean to cup machines I’ve had in the past. It’s just smaller and takes up less space. All in all it’s perfect for us and we love it!

Small machine that doesn’t need much space looks good sat on kitchen counter,works equally well with beans or ground ideal for 2 people makes coffee in 2 minutes but best to leave for 5 or 6 to let it drip.very happy with purchase

Avoid this badly designed piece of plastic like the plague. While it works, it is ok. The instructions are rubbish, so good luck finding out how to do something simple like filling the water reservoir. However, the very special extra-fast planned obsolescence function is very clever. There is a tiny plastic grommet in the coffee compartment, which you will 100% lose within a few weeks of owning this machine. It is specially designed to ping out of the compartment when you are cleaning it and disappear down the sink. When you call Salter to order a new one, you will be told they don't sell them separately!! So you have a new piece of junk modern sculpture in your kitchen. Amazon agreed to refund my money, however.

Started off very well. Beans ground and coffee made in about 6 minutes, was a bit wasteful that not all the beans were ground and the jug had a tendency to dribble. But within days the machine became slower and slower. I threw in the towel and returned the machine after a fortnight when it took over 30 minutes to brew pre ground coffee. Shame as it's a smart looking machine.

My husband wanted a coffee maker with a jug that would make enough coffee to fill his coffee mug, he saw this one and we ordered it. It is just what he wanted, it’s easy to use and also easy to clean, he is very happy with his new coffee maker

We were using a pod machine before purchasing this, the diffence between fresh bean to pod is night and day, could never go back to pods now, is smaller than I expected, but excellent little machine.
