This is my husband’s go to book for counseling children.

Good book to use for school.

I like how simple but effective the activities are in this book. They're perfect when you have 15 minutes until your next group and you need to put something together quick. No? That's just me? Well, I guess you could read some of the lessons the week before and be super prepared for your group. There's even lessons to Frankenstein your own curriculum based on ASCA standards. Highly recommend this book.

I am an elementary school counselor and teach the Second Step curriculum. This little gem of a book corresponds well to my curriculum giving me additional activities during our weekly lessons and for my small group work. Topics include activities on empathy, listening skills, communication skills, emotional regulation and problem solving to name a few. I LOVE this book!

Really helpful and thoughtfully orchestrated activities for children and adults. This book is an invaluable resource for moms! Highly recommend!
