Amazing product! Best $ ever spent.
Wow! I can't believe how well this worked and how necessary this tool is. The tips of the bristles have a bit of a hook to them which grabs and holds the junk that accumulates on your air conditioning condenser, which helps contain the stuff before it falls into the blower. The fins on the A/C condenser are delicate and easily bent, but this tool prevents that damage as long as you brush in the direction of the fins and not across them. Just take your time and be patient and the rewards will be a much better performing A/C system in your home. Mine is 28 years old and never had the condenser cleaned so I definitely needed this tool to do it correctly.I included a "before" and an "after" photo. In the "before" photo I had just started to clean a small spot so you could see how much junk was on the fins to begin with.

Works great on metal filters!
The filters for my furnace are metal and cleaning them has been tedious. I've washed them in the tub, sprayed them with the water hose, used canned air...nothing really did a great job. So I bought this brush hoping for better results, and it delivered. I took the filters outside and started using the brush and the dust just peeled right off. In less than 5 minutes I could see through my filters again! lol I can't say anything about it's durability because I have just used it once, but I dare say even if you got one use out of it, it'd be worth it.

worked great without bending the coils
bought this for my room air conditioner to clean the coils inside and out,,,,worked great without bending the coils. I would recommend also to purchase A/C Safe Foaming coil cleaner too. Together they clean various coils great

This is a fantastic tool.My AC Evaporator was so blocked with dirt and debris the fan motor burned out. After putting in a new motor on the fan I used this brush to clean off years of caked on dirt.It was amazing what a great job it did. I used a foaming clearer after and it made very little differencefrom what the brush already had removed. Turned on the AC and it is working far better than ithas for years. From now on I will check on the evaporator and the condenser every year and clean themwith the brush. It will save me hundreds in electricity and hundreds on repairs. The motor that burned out sellsfor $700 at Trane. Wish I had know this years ago.

Helpful but really is just a plastic brush
It does exactly what it says it does but after closer inspection, I do not see where this differs from any standard brush. If you have plastic brushes laying around the house, don't waste your time buying this guy.

Right size, shape, and stiffness
I recently cleaned the A-coils in an air handler that was completely clogged. This required cutting an access panel in the sheet metal to even reach the coils, and because they taper together, they are very hard to clean with any kind of regular brush, plus you don't want to bend the fins. My crud was stuck on so that a vacuum cleaner hose with a brush attachment wasn't stiff enough to remove it without scraping and potentially damaging the fins. I used a small brush but it was difficult to reach the narrow part of the coils. The width of THIS brush, when turned sideways, is perfect for this, and the stiffness of the bristles seem about perfect. Even though I have an air compressor, I think this will be a superior solution. So, while I haven't actually used this brush and won't for a year or two, it has the right feel for doing the job. I would suggest anyone who has an interior coil to clean consider spending a few dollars for this brush, in addition to a can of cleaning spray. You need to get as much off the coils as possible before spraying or you'll be scraping wet crud off.

Yep Just a Brush, I'm happy to have!
Yep it's a brush and I bought because I saw alot of HVAC guys online carried it and on my very first day as a new HVAC tech I used it. I hemmed and hawed if I should find a space for it my tool pouch, glad i stuck it in there. Used it on my first day to clean away about an inch of dirt and leaves sourrounding a filter drier located on the bottom of a residential condenser that was leaking coolent. We removed the bad filter dryer, sweated in a new pipe and the home owner was happy to have ac again. Yep, this "just a brush" is a tool and it performed well, so in my pouch it will stay.

I don't usually have the time to write reviews but I wanted to do so for this little brush because I was SO impressed with it. I have close to 20 cats and sometimes have even more at home since I'm involved in cat rescue and fostering. I try to clean my AC often and do general maintenance on it so the cat hairs don't damage it. Recently I bought this brush along with Nu-Calgon Eva Pow'r No Rince Coil Cleaner to clean my coils. I was AMAZED at what a terrific job this brush did at cleaning the coils. It took all the cat hairs and most of the grime out of the coils even before I used the Nu-Calgon and NONE of the coils were damaged. I'm going to buy a couple of more brushes just so I have them in case these ever become unavailable. HIGHLY recommend this product.
