Does exactly what it's supposed to
Excellent card, installed into a Dell PowerEdge T420 server running Windows Server 2016. Worked flawlessly, drivers automagically installed by the time I logged in and I'm off in the running with USB 3.0 hard drives attached and running at full/expected performance. Zero configuration, just plug and play.

Suspected Compatibility Issues
After the two five-star reviews I purchased this card but soon discovered no matter what troubleshooting techniques I use I can’t get it to work. I always get a “Code 10” error in Windows 10 Device Manager.According to VisionTek this is supposed to be a headache-free install since it doesn’t require a power source or installation drivers. The Windows 10 drivers are supposed to work on the AMD4 chipset. They don’t! No troubleshooting has been able to get this thing to function and VisionTek support has been of no assistance.It’s apparent this card and probably all the other cards on the market are not designed to work with the new AMD4 platform so if you’ve moved to AMD I’d wait to purchase any card until manufacturers have time to get their act together.If, on the other hand, you decide to go with this card, don’t be shocked and utterly disappointed when you can’t get it to work.

Worked on my DL360 Proliant running Win2016. Installation was simple and the needed no software drivers.

I disregarded the negative reviews. I regretted it.
Unfortunately, I suffered the exact same fate as other reviewers who said that this card worked fine for about a week and then just died. Too bad, too, as it was great for the short time that it worked. Thankfully, it died within the return window. Most disappointing! Can't they figure out how to quality control these things? Do they realize how much energy (delivery/return) and time is wasted when a product just dies like this? Just ridiculous.

Works great on my Hp G7 proliant server running server 2016. Drivers were buit-in and I am able to get about 60 mb/sec from my external HP drives.
