SYSKA T112ML DUOTRON 1W Bright Led Rechargeable Torch (1, Green)

I bought this several months back. It is so nice to be using this regularly without an issue. A get a decent amount of usage between charges. Quite pleased with the product.

Light throw is good up to 80 meters. Compact and pocket friendly. Just because nobody opened it up, I decided to "void warranty" and feed my curiosity. Has a generic 1200mah cell. There is no LED driver meaning it's all passively maintained with resistors (PCB gets toasty when using flood lamp mode). A single cell SOT26 DW06D protection IC and some generic SOT26 lithium ion charger IC. So less parts to fail.My bet is that before everything the switch will give up the ghost. It's flimsy to my tatse. Also it gets a little warm when using side flood light. Not hot to touch but not good for lithium-ion to hangout in that temp range.Good:Good lighting, compact size, decent-ish battery life.Could do better:Battery capacity, swapping resistors to active regulation for efficiency, switch mechanism (slide switch feel is rusty. A push button could do better.)Ofcourse all of those cost extra but I wouldn't mind extra price for longevity.

The media could not be loaded. My puropose for buying it is purely for trekking use so the review will be based around that and if it can perform good there then its surely more than enough for home usage.The torch itself feels quite sturdy and solid, the throw is beam type and not flood type with quite strong and soild beam but lack the brightness I expected it fullfilled 90 percent of my expectations. Wouldn't recommended to buy it for rainy night treks as the beam might mix up at longer distances and leave you blind in nowhere other than that strolls around camp and inside the tent will be a bliss at night and it can be charged by your power bank thats what make it more practical. *This is not some fake or paid review as they are not this detailed*. Buy it before your next expedition.

Battery backup and torch range is very good. Have been using it for more then a year and battery still hold well

Quality of the product is good. But it has some demerits. The charging port will be damaged after few months of usage. And the keys will mal function. The product remains strong but you can't use it because of these defects.

First impressions :The plastic quality is not upto the mark, in terms of fit and finishing and the lettering print it just looks like a used product sold on the platforms, this despite being a reputed brand like Siska.The glass covering the led and the mirror rattles loosely.The brightness of the torch is very good for a product at this price point. The range of the torch reach is quite good. You can easily spot objects 50 meters away (100 metres max not more than that). The angle of the secondary beam surrounding the focus is also quite wide. In fact, that alone is enough to illuminate a hall sized room of 20 x 20 feet when finding your way through the darkness.The brightness of the side lamp is also very good. In fact, if you can place it near a regular bulb holder on the wall, you may mistake it for a normal bulb that uses the mains. It is as bright as a candle (not more than that) and is enough to illuminate large rooms. But the angle of the light is narrow and is something that can be improved.Charging is very convinient, using a micro usb charger. when your phone charger is free, use it. This is in contrast to the torches that come with a 2-pin plug at the tail of the torch, most of which dont fit properly into the socket and will fall off easily.It is a value for money product, but if you want something premium looking, then stay away from this one !

Pros:1. It is lightweight.2. Bright.3. Versatile.4. Very portable.Cons:1. It is very lightweight and delicate. The plastic does not feel sturdy enough to rough around.2. The light switch is too smooth. It can turn on even while walking with it in the pocket.
