you can make your own for less.
Too expensive - I use organic coconut oil that I get at TJ’s for 5 bucks or so and I add a couple of drops of high quality iodine from heritage and then afterward I use ipsab. Works so well on my gums and also my chronic sinus infection goes away. I do it every day. much cheaper than this.

Small bottle but only need a tsp, lots of ingredients
I bought mine from Natural Grocers in haste when I had a terrible tooth ache so I paid a little more than this. I came to Amazon to add it to my shopping list for when I need to replenish because I really do love this product. A few things to note; some people aren’t reading the directions fully. You only need a tsp if you are going to use it straight, the TBS is only if you plan to dilute it in a carrier oil. The bottle is small for the price but dang that’s a lot of ingredients and most are wild harvested. People want quality for nothing but someone has to collect all that and then bottle it so try to imagine how much trouble that would be especially for a small business.I do however agree that I can make my own with coconut oil and a good quality peppermint EO. So I thought I would toggle back and forth between using this and then a bottle of CO to make it stretch. I don’t want to stop using this because of all of the added benefits from those other ingredients but that’s just me, it’s like a compromise due to my budget. It’s literally the cost of 3 cups of coffee at Starbucks so perspective..

Better than plain coconut oil.
With 2 dental implants (which are very pricey) threatening to be rejected by my gums, I was desperate to try something that will reduce gum inflammation. I keep a strict dental hygiene routine along with the advanced attempts of my dentist to help me with the inflamed spots around each transplant, he was perplexed as to what to do next. I rinsed (pulled) with pure organic coconut oil for weeks with very little change. Finally, I tried Dr. Tung's Oil Pulling Concentrate (plus went on an anti-inflammatory diet) and found good results with a few days. Expensive? Yes, but what is the price for healthy gums and attractive teeth?

I think it works much better than straight coconut or sesame oil
I think it works much better than straight coconut or sesame oil. I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for the ridiculous price. I have to use less of it than it calls for to make it stretch. I use about 1/3 less than what it calls for (1 tsp compared to 1 tbsp) which if you are familiar with oil pulling you know your mouth fills up with saliva and liquid quite rapidly if you do it for a few minutes so IMO using less isn't that big of a deal. If I used a full tablespoon I would have to spit it out sooner because my mouth would be even fuller after ten minutes.
