Yes it’s as easy to install as advertised. Which was one of my main goals. The sound performance pretty good. No complaints. I do feel safe knowing I have a working, well made fire alarm in my home.

DO NOT BUY. I bought one of these in September. Went to install it and found it was already dead and would not activate. Returned it and got a replacement the following month. Unfortunately, I waited too long to install the second one and guess what??? It is ALSO a dud. Does not activate. Now return window has closed and I've just wasted 14 bucks and put more trash into the landfill. Great.

I liked that it was so simple to install, and it doesn’t even require the screws that it came with. It just sticks on the wall or ceiling. It was well worth the inexpensive price.

Do not work. I put smoke into the unit, no alarm sound to indicate fire. I have to rebuy a different brand.

The detector is small in size but with a very loud voice.

I bought this less than a year ago and now the low battery indicator chirp is going off constantly. didn't even last 1 yr so don't believe the 10yr claim.

Order extras and send back the broken ones.
