Bought these to find a way to create a tilt-frontend for my gasser. Mounted them and welded the flange to the front clip. WORK like a dream. Definitely recommend. Work great. Only modification I made was to seal the flange and hinge area. If you put grease in, it will just go everywhere.

Zerk fitting seem to be some odd size. None of my grease guns fit them, the heads are too small and the greas just squirts on the outside of the hinge. The threads are smaller, so not possible to install zerk fitting from your local auto supply store unless you want to drill out the hinge and tap for the larger zerk fitting. One of the tapped holes was stripped out from the factory so that zerk fitting was ready to come out on it's own. I removed the bolts and just greased by hand. I guess that's how I'll be doing it in the future.They are very heavy duty (you have to weld these in place). Even with the zerk fitting problem, I still felt for $33.50 (and free shipping with Prime) it's a pretty good deal. Maybe some day I'll drill and tap for new zerk fitting but considering these are back doors on a dump truck, I doubt they'll need a lot of mainenance.

solid , but a couple of the bushings were missing on arrival (made some) and the bushings that were there dont look like they will last long , very thin plastic . that being said the steel is heavy duty , sizing is correct .
