Otto: A Palindrama

I bought this for my fifth grade classroom after each of my students took turns check in it out of our school library over the course of three weeks. Any book enjoyed by 16 different readers needs to be readily available in my classroom!it is clever and fun to read. And it brings enjoyment of the glorious onomatopoeia to an entirely new level!

My 9 year old adores this book. Parents and big brother also find it hilarious. Well done Jon Agee!

I love this book! From soup to nuts, it is brimming with adventure, whimsy, suspense, humor, sweetness, and very colorful characters including Remarkable Melba Kramer and a pup named Pip. I have enjoyed reading this before going to sleep for several nights now! It's engaging, highly original and brilliantly presented. My only problem with Jon Agee's books is that there aren't enough of them for me. I am hooked. I am also nearly 70, so you don't have to be a kid. Just call me Retro Pete Porter.

I loved this fun book. The ENTIRE book is written in palindromes, a very difficult task! I read it in one sitting. But then I’m a word-nerd.

Bought this for my 7-year old grandson. He loves it. He keeps reading the parts he finds funniest over and over. A winner of a children's book.

Fun read start to finish!

I bought this because I'm a long-time fan of Agee's earlier palindrome-based books. While those are still great, this one is really special. Any reader would find it fun and funny to read, regardless of their age. It's just perfectly done on every level, and the result is often beautiful and poignant. I would recommend Otto to any reader.

My 7th grade students are enjoying this tale.
