I love these series! It's my favourite manga, another wonderful story composed by the talented Rumiko Takahashi. The artwork is great and the story is addictive!Ranma is a boy who turns into a girl when drenched in cold water; and to reverse the effect he requires hot water. He's always getting chased by desperate suitors for when he's both sexes... "What's a half boy, half girl to do?"You have to get this!! It's a must have... The story is really funny, and I crack up whenever I read it. Literally. Now, go! GO! Get!For people familiar to the series... in this Novel, what happens is Kuno gets his head stuck inside a melon, and in result loses his memory, also making him somewhat more powerful in fighting. There's also another story whereas Ranma is "so nice" to Ukyo, and in addition makes Ukyo think that Ranma is going to take care of her for the rest of her life.

If you are looking at Vol 17, you should have read 1-16 already. Do not stop there the story is almost complete and as great as ever.
