Will it sharpen French pencils? I have pencils which are metric and they don't fit in any hand held sharpener. I have to use a knife.

Can you give a diameter for the pencil? There are two sharpening holes, one is for "normal" pencils and produces a fine point, the other is broader and cuts a larger angle than the other.

Is this large enough for the Albrecht Durer Magnus watercolor pencils?

I was just on the Faber Castell website looking for a sharpener for my Magnus pencils. This is the sharpener they recommend for them.

Will this work good for the Fabre castell watercolor pencils ?

"Good" is always subjective but, I have used it for other brands and got results that I am happy with. I have not tried the Farber Castell brand.
