Ordered the medium sized stool and given I am 5ft 2, 150lbs, it held up perfectly. More than comfortable for a short sit. I took it with me to Thorpe park as I struggle with queues and it was fantastic. It also meant I could find a spot in the shade any time and not have to sit on the floor!It is a little finicky to fold up but after a tiny bit of practice I've got the knack. It is low to the ground but that's to be expected for a stool that is small, lightweight and easily fits into a rucksack!!! It was everything I hoped for and brilliant value!

Product is very light which is important to us as our gear is excessive and starting to get heavy with full kit. The seat is very well made and easy to put up. It is a good height for sitting (We bought two of the large ones)Putting them back down and folding them for the bag without looking at the instructions will give you 20 minutes of fun or hell depending on your perspective. Finally when you look at the instructions here on the site you will feel like a complete idiot seeing how ridiculously easy it is. Don't cheat! take the 20 minutes of fun before you look at the video here. LOLThe Large seat has a mesh pocket under the seat which is handy for keeping odds and sods that you might need in our case lens caps and other photographic equipment but not excessive.The aluminum is of high quality and will be less likely to excessive wear. I would love to find a fault with this seat but so far haven't. It is perfect for our needs.

This is a small little stool that did the job when I was sitting in a queue for a concert. It is small, in terms of width, so maybe go a size bigger if you're over 5"5, but it was super easy to assemble and close once you get the hang of it and as it's tiny and fits in its little bag it was a great portable stool

I've seen some people disappointed with this product saying it is too small. It's good to clarify: This is not a stool for people with mobility issues (such as some senior citizens), who find hard to sit down/stand up, and who need an ergonomic piece of furniture. It is a very compact, lightweight, sturdy little stool that can be taken anywhere with you. Think about a picnic setup: if you get tired of sitting on the ground for a long time, this little guy can help. If you're going to the beach and want to pack light, you won't want to carry a beach chair, but this little guy will fit in your purse. It's very easy to put together. It's not so easy to disassemble but you'll get the knack quickly enough, I promise. Once you see it as the alternative not to a real chair, but to the situations you would normally stand or sit on the ground (I've used to wait in queues!), you'll appreciate it for what it is. :)

I bought this to use for queueing for music concerts and it's ideal for the purpose. Bear in mind that this is really a child's size stool, so if you are heavier or can't sit on a low stool it might not be suitable. I'm a smallish adult and didn't have any problems with it supporting my weight. I used it to queue in the snow, when it would have been too cold to sit directly on the ground.It does fold up quite small, although it can be a bit awkward folding and unfolding it as it turns into a sort of puzzle made of metal tubes and elastic. Once folded, the accompanying bag keeps it from popping out again. It was small enough to fit in a large coat pocket, or fit inside clothing or hang from trouser loop, so was ideal for venues where I wasn't sure about taking a bag in.I wouldn't say it's comfortable to sit on, but it was fine, if you don't mind sitting low down. I got compliments on it, and did pass my first one on to somebody else, and have bought another one.

Good small size and sturdy enough. Opens easily and is very easily and quickly assembled.My issue with it is that it’s only for very short stops and isn’t oozing comfort and it’s a bit of a pain to deconstruct and store away again.

Given 5 stars because, even though its too small for me (5ft, size 8 & slim), for a comfy long sit, it is sturdy, very light, pack's small and comfy for a quick sit to keep your bottom off the ground. Still better than my tripod seat at same weight 250grms, as horizontal fot base does not get too lost in soft ground. Would be a fabulous buy for a youg child though. For me I have the medium for comfort and a 100grams extra, but same benefits. Only down side sometimes a tiny bit fiddly to set up but a second of patience is all this needed to align the tubes to slot in together.
