Very happy with the mat. the quality is very high , obviously for 300+ dollars you expect it to be. However compared with the CCE mat which i was looking at as well this was 150.00 cheaper. im sure CCE is very good as well but i found this to be , high quality , firm but gives too so easier on the joints then the fiberbuilt i had, and rolled right out and ready to go. the foam pad is very well attached to the grass as i tried to put a very small notch in it to fit it into my fiberbuilt base, and found that to be very difficult to cut that foam at all. After using it for a few days and looking at after im assuming this will last many many years

There's nothing bad to say about this mat. First, it was shipped very quickly. It comes rolled up, so you need to lie it flat in a warm room and it settles down in about a day. It helps to weight it down if possible. It's thick at 1-1/4", so your hands and wrists never get shock. I've been hitting balls in roughly the same spot for 3 weeks and you can't tell it's ever been used. And, it doesn't leave that green plastic film on the bottom of your clubs. It takes a tee very easily and the turf is very thick - very similar to hitting off real grass. Plus, it was a little cheaper than some of the other mats I looked at. You definitely need the 4 X 5 size or larger if you're planning to hit drivers off this mat. You will not be disappointed.

Very thick, stable and heavy 4x5 hitting mat. Two holes either side of mat for rubber tees, but turf is thick and sturdy enough to easily hold regular tees in preferred positions. Forgiving surface, very comfortable to stand on, and haven’t seen any plastic residue on my clubs. It’s pretty heavy, so not the easiest to thing to move around if you’re looking to switch often between indoor and outdoor use. No way the wind is blowing that mat away. Really liking this purchase.

love the mat but still haven't received the tray and rubber tees

I had the a thinner model that lasted 3 years outside. Was used every day in the spring and summer. It probably would have lasted even longer. But it was left outside 24-7. This new one is absolutely great. Thick backing. Nice give when strike the mat. Don't have to worry about injuries. I dug out a 6 inch 5×5 hole. I then put in a layer of gravel, a layer of sand. Then a 5×5 3/4"pressure treated plywood. And mat goes on top. With room to place flight simulator.

I was looking for a mat that would allow me to set up an indoor golf simulator and hitting area in my home. Cheap mats fall apart and leave green turf marks on the bottom of your club but this is not the case with this mat. When you take it out of the box you immediately know it is heave duty, great quality and well made. I have no doubt I will get years of enjoyment out of this product and love the fact that it is MADE in the USA.

This is truly golf course quality. As good, if not better than the mats at our local golf courses. Thick, sturdy and heavy. It is on the pricey side, but well worth the cost. A+ for value.
