I started using a different cutter which worked until the blade screwed too far into the base and blocked the blade from doing more than scratching the surface. So I decided to pay a little more and get this with a base which has hardened steel and this did an excellent job cutting spot welds on an auto body project. One of the blades did break by the end of it but that is because of working through a dirty amateur weld which forced it to come at it from a funny orientation. I'm so glad I used this cutter. It got through the welds so fast and easy.

They spin on the adapter and drill really well.

Bits are very strong! The sharpness stays consistent. The only difference is being able to keep the bit centered is a challenge. You most definitely need a strong drill and technique to compensate. You can use a weaker drill but the cuts won't be consistent. So it comes down to the user error. Great product overall though for sure.

Once you use it on the low speed it cuts like butter

Worked as advertised. Probably cut out a couple hundred spots and only used 3 of the 5 cutters. Just take your time and go slow so you dont cut through both sheets and make a hole that’ll need puddling in. Also to help keep it from walking(especially in odd spots) do yourself a favor and hit it with a sharp punch first. Cheers

Just tried these out tonight and wow! Soooo much easier than drill bits and the cheap spot weld cutters that are out there. Worth every penny!!! Drilled out 20 and no difference in sharpness.

I’ve drilled out a ton of spot welds with this worked great.

Some cut right through and sometimes your stuck drilling but no cutting. The tip dulls pretty quick and drill will skip which if not careful could cause injury. So so product

This worked great for removing spot welds I am still using the first bit and have drilled out about 50 spot welds so far
