AQUAGE Seaextend Silkening Oil Foam, 8 Oz

For the past 30 years I probably bought 2-3 new hair products annually to manage my fine, flyaway hair that has thinned in recent years. It's an assymmetric cut and needs controlled styling. Not much was working.A trial size of Aquage Silkening Foam was included in my hair stylist's Christmas bag. And immediately I found it much more effective than previous products. Although the trial size can will last a while, I bought this large one on Amazon in fear of it becoming unavailable in the future.USAGE: The foam texture is noticeably silky with the tiny bit of emulsified oil. It has an okay odor (I never enjoy hair product smells) and for my short cut I only need to dispense about a ping pong ball size of foam. It spreads quickly and responds well to various types of brushes and combs that I use, and finger styling.The BIG BENEFIT is that I can sleep in the product, refresh with dry/spray shampoo the next morning and it's good to go. Other hair treatments that are left on overnight flatten or twist my hair so it needs daily washing. Of course frequent washing contributes to hair loss and color deteriation.The stuff is great. This large can will last at least 6 months. It will be all I use going forward.

This stuff is amazing! It's the ONLY thing I've been able to use that cuts the frizz out! In fact, I can actually wake up in the morning (some days) and not have to wet my hair and just use this stuff and it looks like I washed, dried, and styled! Its really only useful for frizzy curly/wavy hair. On straight hair it can look a little too greasy (I straighten my hair now and then). A little goes a long way with this product. I've also been using it for 4 years. I haven't noticed any difference (no packaging or textural) between the Amazon version and the one I buy in the salon.

I’ve tried other products and always come back to this one. It tames some of my frizz and gives me a little shape and boost. I love it!

great for permed or curly hair. is a smooth, firm curl but not a crunchy texture once dry. holds the curl but is soft to touch. seems to add a little moisture to give a smooth, strong, soft curl. My favorite. pricey but worth it.

It's a great buy if you use it like I need to, which is to put only a dab, less than a dime size, in your hand. It is that oily, for lack of a better word. But it does work well. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with oil issues.
