I agree that this is great as a food topper (I use it to top a joint supplement that's ground up since my dog hates it). My dog loves it. The only thing I'd advise is checking the expiration when you get it. Mine expired soon after I got it, and if I had known, I would have returned for a fresher one.

Our little Doxy is picky and this topper has her digging right in when we set her bowl down, the turkey also has helped out our best friends hyperactive Corgi a lot, I'm a canine nutrition specialist with a degree in Animal Science/nutrition and before we went to a stronger aid to help an anxiety ridden neurotic corgi to stop triggering so much and flying into panic attacks where he would bark until he was panting and looked ready to fall over. The Tryptophan in this is decent, and combined with a turkey based food my best friends Corgi has settled down and now only has his "attacks" a couple times a week instead of several times a day! So great for picky eaters and great to add to a diet for behavior assistance as well!!

My dogs love this food topper. I like that it’s human grade and a simple ingredient list. It may seem a bit pricey compared to other meal toppers, but you only use a little anyway, so the bag last. This is my go to meal topper. Also, my dog has a chicken allergy and the fact that they make this in pork, turkey and beef is an added bonus.

Misleading. Didn't look like picture. It was not chewey little pieces of jerky. It was pure powder. Does not tempt my dog.

My dog is on medication after surgery. The compound pharmacy didn’t put flavoring in her medicine. This helps disguise it.
