These are great as micro greens. Arugula are mucilaginous seeds that get a slimy coating when germinating. They are never appropriate for sprouting in a jar (if you add a very small percentage to something like alfalfa or clover you might get away with it).So my seeds sprouted well as micro greens, but they are not appropriate for a “sprouter” device. Maybe this explains some of the one star reviews.

These are NOT Sprouting Seeds
I've been sprouting seeds for ten years or more so when I saw a review of these where the woman said they could not be sprouted, I foolishly thought it might be inexperience. Some sprouts can be difficult to grow, especially for a beginner. That was not the case here, these are mismarked as sprouting seeds when they are seeds for growing microgreens, completely different type of seed. Yes, they did turn to mush, as the previous reviewer said, because they are not made to sprout, plain and simple. Unfortunately, these are not returnable so your stuck. If you look at the growing instructions on the bag, which are not listed on the website, it tells you how to grow microgreens! Therefore, this company knows these are not sprouting seeds but apparently don't want to spend the money to correct the error on their bags! Please don't purchase if you are looking for sprouting seeds, because they are not sprouting seeds, regardless of what it says on the bag and in the description!

not typical sprouting seeds.
I am so used to sprouting alfalfa and radish and beans, that I had no idea that these could not be sprouted in jars like those others. I found out quickly, when I soaked overnight and found these turned into a gelatinous mess. So round two involved setting the seeds out on damp paper towel on a tray. They sprouted beautifully, but are much harder to harvest and use. Oh well. Nice mustard-like crunch, and I look forward to planying some outside when it warms up.

Zero sprouted. Don't buy!!!
I can't get it to sprout. The seeds get very slimy and doesn't want to drain water like it suppose to. It blocks the mesh on the drain lead.

Worst sprouts ever
Didn’t sprout and wouldn’t release water from the seeds ... but used it in the garden so it’s not a total loss,

Success!!
I have been experimenting with different seeds and growing approaches. A coconut mat slightly elevated from the water after the first day (let water get to level of coconut mat) and these things took off. Tasted just like I expected. Most seeds sprouted even though I had so many I thought it was going to be too crowded.

Not for Microgreens
Very uneven germination and molding in the seeds that didn't germinate. I threw the tray out and I will also throw out these seeds because they are not returnable. You can't even sprout these seeds in a sprouter because of they are gelatinous.
