I love this hat! You can move the Velcro strap in back to adjust the size. There is the ponytail hole. You can wear it with the cloth to shade your neck. It just snaps off if you want just the hat. I haven’t worn it as a visor yet. I do think it’s a nice feature that the top of the hat zips off. I don’t wear visors though. The chin strap works great on windy days. It’s a great hat!

Bought this for my mother. It was perfect. Everything she had been looking for in a protective sun hat. The variety of colors/patterns is great.

I ordered this hat for everyday walks to protect me from the sun and to take it on a month long trip to the southern hemisphere during the summer there. So far I've worn it on my daily walks. I like the idea of the individual pieces that can be snapped together. It fit ok. I also like the looseness of the side / neck protective cloth that can be removed. And the hat part is a good width to keep sun off my face. The only thing I wasn't totally pleased about is that the hat fits too far down and my head and the hat brim blocks my side and part of my forward vision. To see better, I have to tilt everything up and then it slides. Overall, though, I think this is a good idea. The foldability and breathability of this are good and make it a good choice. It is attractive.

I have been using this several years and it works great. It is not heavy and easy to pack when traveling and the variety of options is great. Note that not all the color / designs have the string to tie under the chin. Mine does and it is very helpful when windy.

I got the purple one a while back. It is nice; I always carry it folded in my purse but the wire inside wore out the fabric and was sticking out. I ordered the brown one and was pleasantly surprised. They added more layers of wires so the brim are larger, allowing greater coverage. Also, the strap of the old design was removable but it always fell out by itself so i just got rid of it. The strao of new design is sewn on so very secure.

Light weight, measurements matched, adjustable velcro closure in the back is convienent but out of the package the scarf sags on the sides between the snaps (see pic) so it doesn't actually cover your ears, had to use some ingenuity to make it stay up in line with the bottom of the hat. The snap thing attched to adjustment area is just odd when you attach scarf to band (see pic). Because of the way it is vacuum packed the boning/wires in the hat have taken an odd shape and I can't get them to reshape by hand. I have a pretty small head and I can't snap the top snaps of the scarf under my chin without jamming the hat down over my ears uncomfortably but it does come with a separate detactable chin strap to keep it on your head. If these logistics issued can be worked out it would be good.

I truly love this hat. I love its versatility. Because of the option to flip rim up, It gives face full or partial coverage, and unlike other similar hats, the scarf is long enough that it covers the neck and decollate and the strap prevents hat from blowing away. I’ve received compliments on it as well.

Super lightweight and comfortable — perfect for hikes. It’s also stylish!

LOVE THIS HAT! I can use it under my bike helmet when I'm cycling and it doesn't impede my vision.

It would have made a nice hiking hat to keep pest off back of neck & out of ears, but elastic on top of sheer wasn't good. One side was ok, but the other left a gap. It was nice that you could remove sheer part & just use cap, which also had a zip off top so it could also be used a a visor. Do to defective
