I bought this because I live on the first floor and have a cat so when it’s hot I can only open the window about 2 inches, the window is huge too so when I saw this product I thought it would be worth a try and it works brilliantly! It’s really easy to use, you just adjust it to fit the width of the opening, put it in and close the window so it keeps it in place, I have the magnetic net in other windows which are great too but this is much less hassle to fit and removable. I had to get the largest size which was quite expensive but you get 2 so not bad value for money. I would definitely recommend this to cat owners who live above the ground floor!

We moved house and needed something to stop the cats escaping onto scaffolding outside our window. After hours of looking I found this and took the plunge, if they were wrong it was going to be a £50 failure LOL We tipped them on their end and used them lengthways, easy to slide into place, no glue or tape required, looks great, we can feel the fresh air though the netting, the cats love to sit looking out over the front of the flats. No mess, easy to store, absolute perfect for the job. I would score10 stars if I could.

Why have I not bought this before?Quick and easy to use. Open sash window pull out the screen to fit the gap then pull down the window or up. That’s it.I purchased the screen as like most people sick of the flys and other insects coming in. Esp. Moths during spring/summer.The screen works and is sturdy too.Very pleased with it as I was considering making some. So, perfect.I thought it was reasonably priced as you get a pack of 2 screens.So, far I have one permanently in the bathroom and another that is between a bedroom or landing window.Only disadvantage I would say is if your sash window isn’t even/striaght. We have 3 types installed at different times 2 wood type (slightly different) and wood effect plastic. So, there could be a slight gap (mm) but a bit of brush draft excluder could be used for this if required. But this is not the screen fault just design of window.Will purchase more and will purchase for larger window. Highly recommend.

These screens work well as intended (keeping those big nasty flies, bees and other flying pests out of the house while having a window open). I just really don't understand how the UK doesn't have screens in their windows (compared to US countries). Screens not only work against pests but they also offer a bit more safety when you have children or animals in the home. Screens also work to avoid objects falling out of windows on pedestrians walking on sidewalks. I speak from experience. My only gripe is that these screens are really expensive and mention something about being made from materials known to cause cancer. What is this about? It's like, in the UK, letting/renting flats with these screenless windows, double sink/tub water taps and bathtubs with no showers or weird-facing showers with no curtain rods — mindboggling. Please get up-to-date and use safe quality materials while doing so. Thankfully, my apartment is modern but I hate the screenless windows that I have purchased these screens for. Whenever I decide to move, I will be taking these pricey screens with me!

Rather a rash buy tbh, but with hot weather suddenly upon us (and having suffered with a nasty and long lasting allergic reaction to bites the previous 2 years) I needed to try something to prevent a recurrence.Luckily the height of the large, was the exact width of our windows so decided to take a punt even though intended for sash windows. So we are using the the wrong way around, but it fits neatly into the grooves of the open window and is quite secure.A tad trickier to fit than if using with sash windows, but once you have the knack, it takes less than a minute to but both in place and removed in even less time. Had a night without bites last night so very pleased! 😊

I needed something for 2 top opening pvc windows but I mistakenly thought the item was changeable both height wise as well as width.Unfortunately, they are nowhere near useable for me.IF you have the correct sized opening or are fitting them under a sash window as shown in their instructions you could not find anything better.They are made really well and such a brilliant price for the use they would provide.
