Good replacement for Alienware 15 R4
It came well packed, fits perfectly into the laptop. Doesn't overheat during use or charging. Lasts around 3-3 ½ hours. The price is very good in comparison to OEM. The charge is pretty fast. Was easy to replace, if you no how to open laptops. Let's hope it's lifespan will be at least 3 years. It's very functional to have mobility on your laptop.

Good Buy
Bought this battery for my Alienware laptop, to replace one that wasn't holding charge.This battery matches the OEM battery exactly and fit perfectly which was a relief. The battery life is great, like a brand new laptop now. Installation was a pain not due to the battery but Alienware design made me remove many parts to get to the battery. The price was right, I wanted OEM battery but took a risk on this which was half off.In Short: It fit great and functions like new.

Failed after 7 months of use, but 5 star service
UPDATE 4/24/2023 back up to 5 🌟 starsSeller responded within 24hrs and shipped a new battery out to me for free. Recieved 2 days later. Photos show the old battery failed via gas production is the battery pack. Googling what causes battery expansion days it is likely that it was likely due to draining the battery too low, overcharging, or overheating. The more I look into it and the more I re-read the seller's installation & maintenance instructions, the more I think the battery failure is my fault.My Alienware 17 R5 uses a 240watt power supply. The BIOS has battery charging set to the fastest setting. I also run applications that are graphically intensive and pull a lot of watts from the battery which in turn means the battery gets hot.I didn't do the deep discharge and recharge cycling every 3 months as they suggested, so that means the Battery Pack's BMS was likely not calibrated correctly.In the end, I don't know enough to know if the battery failed so early because of my powerhouse of a laptop, my negligence, or manufacturing defects. Therefore, I changed my BIOS settings so the battery doesn't charge at such a high C-rating and I boosted cooling off the laptop with a laptop fan base that the laptop rests on. I did four deep discharge & recharge cycles on the battery as soon as I installed this new battery pack (takes 30 minutes to swap out a battery for my laptop).If this 2nd battery fails before 2yrs of use, you best bet I will be back with a detailed update.INITIAL REVIEW 4/15/2023 2 stars🌟Didn't last. Battery has swollen up and doesn't last more than 20 minutes now. Going to see if seller will help out, otherwise will try a different manufacturer

Not a good battery
This was a replacement battery for my aleinware laptop . First off I did read the reviews and they seemed ok for this battery . Replacing this battery is not a simple plug and play situation half the laptop has to be taken apart just to get to it so I wanted to go off the reviews because I didn't want to have to do it twice . Well guess what I had to do it twice because after many attempts to balance the cells it would still get down to around 50% and say it had 3.5 hours of power left but would be dead in 20-30 minutes. I called and got a replacement which I haven't had time to swap out yet due to a busy schedual and the time ran out on the return so at this point it looks like I've paid double and don't know if the secound battery is any better. I thought I would have 30 days to return the defective battery but it turns out I only had 20 days

Works!
Always nervous installing non -OEM batteries but the last batteries I installed that were OEM were 3x the price and still puffed on me after a year. Well just installed this and i have a nice 2 hrs once again for 1/3 the price. Works great so far!

Great battery, great price.
Got this battery to replace my original battery on my Alienware 17 R4 laptop. Works great. Unfortunely, This laptop requires a great deal of work just to get to the battery, but once there, installation was a snap. Just plug in the battery cable and place the battery in the laptop case.
