My son is an automotive mechanic, and, as any mechanic can attest to, constantly dropping the little parts is a big problem. He is forever climbing under what he is working on trying to see if the part or fastener has fallen through to the ground or if he needs to fidget his way through the engine compartment to find where it got hung up. Then there is keeping things like screws, bolts, cotter pins......... in your mouth to have them within reach as you need them. This wrist band has ended a lot of that. Things stay firmly on his wrist. He is spending less time fighting through the engine in order to fin what got dropped. End he it not trying to talk through nails while working. The wrist strap itself is extraordinarily constructed. The stitching is strong and well placed. The Velcro holds it firmly in place without needing to constantly needing to adjust it back. The magnet is strong enough to eliminate much of your droppage. However it is not infallible. If you hit it on your project, things will fall. But overall I am very happy with my purchase, and so was my son.I received magnetic wristband at a discounted price for my honest opinion of their quality and use. If you do DIY or home improvement on your own, this will be helpful. I bought this for my husband since he does most of our home repairs while I am watching the kids. While he likes this, he isn't in love with it. Functionally, it does what it says, so its really about personal comfortPros:Nails/screws hold onto the magnet. We only had a few on there, but didn't have any fall off while using it.Adjustable size so you can wear this snug at your wrist or loose and slip it on over your hand.Cons:The magnet only works at super close range - like you have to set nails/screws on the wrist strap get them to stay. He dropped a screw and tried holding the magnet over the floor to get it to latch on. It would not until he was practically touching the screw. So, it works as long as its touching.Hot to wear. This is especially a big deal in the summer. He wore this indoors with the AC and was complaining that his wrist was sweating. No other part of his body was uncomfortable, just the wrist.Overall, this is a good wrist magnet. But, it will probably be used less for the reason that it is so hot to wear and leaves the wrist/arm feeling sweaty. Most of the home improvement projects happen in the warmer months here. Its also rather easy to wear a shirt with a front pocket so he can keep nails or screws in it. I was provided a discount on this product for review purposes.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! So basically this is a wrist strap that can hold many screws or nails or really anything you need. The wrist strap is magnetized. The wrist strap is actually large in length, I get the feeling you could probably put this around your ankle too, if you do roof work,but its length is defiantly not a header as it is made to tuck the excess, you wont notice.This is great of you are working on taking something apart and also don't want to loose the screws and washers or other parts that can fall, you just position this to catch them or just place them on your wrist as you take the item apart.I can see this being used anywhere, construction sites, auto mechanics, racking servers.. I mean anywhere acres or nails or metal parts are involved.The build of this strap is really good. I could see this being used daily out in the field. it looks and feels very durable.I would recommend this to family members, very cool concept and really well made, I did receive mine at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I plan on using this a lot!
