I can now connect my Akai MPD226 to my PC via a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen and utilise everything via FL Studio. Exactly what I was looking for.

Bought this to connect my M-Audio Keystation to a Korg Nu Tekt NTS1, Works a treat. For those unsure - this is not an adapter that needs a seperate cable, this is a cable in it's own right, a male 5 pin din midi-out on one end and a type A 3.5mm jack on the other. I am unwise as if it were to work as a type A 'out' to 5 pin din 'in', as I have not tried this.

Very Good Type A 5 pin midi to 3.5mm midi
Works with my Korg NTS-1 Mono Synth 3.5mm type A midi input.If you use Arturia or Novation you will need a MIDI TRS Type B cable.
