This product when paired with other things was brilliant however it can cause black and blue marks or easy bruising and then you end up with the purplish bluish greenish colored spot about the size of a silver dollar in various places on your body for a few days. At least it's not pink. That's just not my color.

I have taken these for roughly 3 months. My cholesterol was 400+. I just went and donated blood, my level came back as 194! I only have been taking one tablet daily. I am going to double the dose and when I go donate again (in 90 days) I will see what my number is then. Good stuff, don't get on statin drugs!!! I do not take anything but naturals.

When my doctor's office called to give me the results of my lab tests, I was advised to start taking Niacin. I was told that if it makes your face red to take a low dose aspirin with it. I like this niacin for it only has a slight flushing effect. Some niacin that I have purchased makes my skin itch and my face and body turn bright red.

The price is competitive with my Naturopath's prices, Pharmaca and other sites that sell supplements. Vital brand is also independently tested for harmful metals or contaminants. I don't use supplements that are not independently tested (I usually use supplements that have been third party independently tested) because there are few standards to keep people safe from contaminated vitamins.
