Works great at soaking up sweat
Great item to keep sweat of your face and glasses. Soaks up so much sweat that I was surprised by just how much sweat a had to wring out after using it. Never felt hot. Always felt cool on my head.

Great hot weather accessory to keep sweat out of your eyes.
Nice sweatband to keep the sweat from dripping into your eyes and on your glasses! Thin enough to wear with your choice of hat. The band seems to pull the sweat from your brow and help it to evaporate better, causing a cooling effect.

Not cooling but keeps my earbud from falling out
It doesn't cool you down and isn't a material that holds sweat but it works fantastic at making sure my earbud doesn't fall in the water. Jetskiing without music.... not anymore. Podcast while giving the kid a bath... sure do Losing an earbud in the grass while mowing.... not anymore Cool head while mowing the lawn.... nope pretty close to having a heat stroke.

Not a lot of help
I thought this would be "cooling" while working in the yard but nothing much has changed. It does keep my hair off of my face and it isn't too tight which I worried about. I wear it under my straw gardening hat. Until it is saturated it does stop the sweat running down into my eyes. I haven't wet it down prior to use yet. I'll have to try that on a day I'm not going anywhere because it certainly destroys any hope of looking presentable after. I sweat like crazy and after an hour or so in the heat I come in looking like I was swimming, with or without wearing it.

My Cool happy Grandson
I brought these for my grandson who works in a warehouse. He didn't get them until this week. He was in my family room yelling my name. "Grandma, I want to tell you something." I walked in the room. He said these words to me. These are great. I put them in the freezer last night. It's 2:45 pm and they are still ready. Yes, this is great" Where did you get them from? Thank you for the great product and at reasonable price also.

Cooling effect is surprisingly great!
Its a bit heavy but it feels soooo good. It's thick and keeps your head cool for much longer than I anticipated. It fits a bit tight, but that's okay because it stays on, but it can become a little uncomfortable after a while, but you get used to it. It doesn't look great when you're wearing it, but who cares when you need it to stay cool or have a headache. I do love that its large enough you can pull it down over your eyes, incredibly helpful for a migraine. Made from a good quality material too.

Very helpful in the heat
I have used Ergodyne products for some time. Most notably their “wraps” for your neck. (Just bought some more!) This headband is great under my baseball cap when I’m working outside, whether it be working on the house or in the yard. I’m not sure what some people may be expecting with these wraps and headbands. They are intended to help keep you comfortable while out in the heat. No…they won’t stay cool themselves. But they can make a huge difference in keeping you a little bit more comfortable. When they get dry, it’s a sign you need to re-wet them; I always have a spray bottle handy to do that. Plain and simple. They don’t stay cool, but they keep you a bit cooler by retaining the dampness against your skin. I work outside for a few hours several times a week here in FL, and during Summer these days the heat index can be over 100 even in the early evening. These, along with a mister and a lot of water to drink (and sometimes a big industrial fan when there’s no wind), are a huge help. The high humidity can make the dampness in these evaporate after a few hours, so I make sure to re-wet them when I need to.

Soak it in the sink when you wash hands.. it's wonderful
I use this primarily to trap the baby hair while driving. But I also love the cooling affect after soaking it.. it's amazing how that little extra moisture feels so much better in the heat
