I only took this out on vacations so really only used it a handful of times in the year since purchasing, it worked fantastically the entire first trip, but months later on another vacation it failed to connect to my phone on several attempts. I was too distracted at the time to try trouble shooting it and sadly forgot all about it after the trip. Now on my most recent vacation I brought it along again to be rudely reminded at an inconvenient moment that it had been malfunctioning and again it repeatedly failed to be connected via blue tooth. Upside was that the cost wasn't too upsetting to have been a loss, but the huge downside was finding out it was a dud in the moment I needed it to record some nice memories (still did selfies but with the pitiful results of the conventional arm length away framing) so caution to others that this is a case of getting what you pay for.

I had to completely change my review. It worked the first day but then I couldn't get it to synch with my ipod touch. I eventually synched it with my iphone but just couldn't get it to connect via bluetooth to use it afterwards. I decided to try it again today and I charged it first then tried to connect it to my ipone and it works! I think mine has a low battery life. Not sure. I am giving it a 3 because it is not reliable for me yet. If I figure out how to use this selfie-stick in a reliable way, I may change my review. So I have changed it from a 1 star review (whichI almost never give) to a 3 star pending that I can keep it working reliably. :)

I was very sorry to have had to return this selfie stick. It did not fit over my iPhone 6 Plus with the Otter Box Defender case in a horizonal positioin.I liked the product straight from the box. Well made, several lengths, a good weight, easy on the hand and attractive.If ever I go down a size with my iPhone, I would order this again.

Super compact!! Works great!!! The only issue to be noted is that while it does fit a digital camera or a phone, it's not easily or quickly interchangeable... make sure that's not an issue for you. It's one or the other - the mount has a small bolt that makes the change take a few minutes, can't be done on the fly. Otherwise, great size, fits in my purse, not very bulky, and looks sturdy and well made.

I hate having to ask people to take my or my family's picture. It's always a hassle, and strangers never take enough photos. With this, I can take as many pictures as I want. My family might get annoyed, but at least I'll get a few good pictures!!! The extra range it provides makes it perfect for group shots. It's very easy to use and really compacts down when not in use. I can carry it in my pocket.

I used to think selfie sticks were the most stupid and useless invention of our generation. I still think theyre stupid, but its actually pretty useful. Ones you get past the self-guilt of using one, you realize you really do walk away with a lot better pictures. It helps that its so transportable, and its great for hiking photos

Bought this to take pictures of the parade in NYC. Attached my point and shoot and got pretty good shots, despite the crowd. Never tried the bluetooth

seems to work OK. Bluetooth is the way to go. Have not used it extensively but each time use need to re-sync to the phone. It does not remember.
