I'm impressed with this little portable umbrella. So far, it has held up perfectly when I've been walking around in the rain on a windy day. While the handle is small, I haven't had any problem holding the umbrella in my hand.Pros:- It's attractive, waterproof, and isn't hard to open or close- This umbrella seems much stronger than some collapsible umbrellas I've owned that were considerably bigger and heavier.- When it's collapsed, it's small and light enough that I can carry it inside a cargo pocket of my pants.Cons:This umbrella is fine for one person when opened, but it would be a bit small to share with a second person.

I never even unfurled this. The handle is very uncomfortable. If you look closely you will see it's shaped liked a very large bottle cap. The only way to hold it is to put the palm of your hand on underside the handle and wrap your fingers around the metal rod---the handle is not large enough to wrap your fingers around. I would not like to go running around in a rainstorm holding this thing. I'm returning it without even opening it.

We are taking a trip this summer and I thought a sun umbrella would be great for casual sightseeing. I wouldn't always have to wear a hat for shopping, lunches and museums. I have already used this several times on blazing hot days. We meet friends for breakfast or lunch, chat the whole time but still stand in the sun in the parking lot for the long good bye. It fits in my purse and is very light weight. I can get a regular umbrella for half the cost but this is well constructed, compact and light weight which makes it a good value.

Kind of flimsy. Flips inside out easily.

Umbrella is compact and attractive. Mechanism worked as expected. Would prefer the diameter were larger, but I knew its size when I ordered it. One star deducted because the umbrella can not withstand moderate wind.

So disappointed. Based on description I bought it for an overseas backpacking trip, but it has been useless. Even a light wind blows it inside out. By the time I used it for the first time, I was already out of the country and the return window was expired anyway.

A sturdy and lightweight, small travel umbrella or one to just keep in your shoulder bag. Well built, has some heft to it compared to some of the others, it is worth the extra cost. The green trim adds some color to it.

Used this umbrella on a trip to Israel and was not disappointed. We were out in the hot sun (July) every single day and this really made a difference. Our tour guide even tried it for a while! It folds up very small so it was easy to carry around, it VERY lightweight and, like I said, gives you some shade when you need it! I would recommend it!
