I've used a lot of chenille blanket type yarn brands when making amigurumi and I have to say, I wasn't expecting this one to be nearly as amazing as it is. Yarns like this typically shed or lose chunks or get tangled super easy but this one surprisingly does not! I had to pull out two whole rows and had zero catching and zero loss. Even cutting the ends had minimal fallout. It's not as soft as others I've used, but it's full, plush and super durable. If you make amigurumi, this is def my new favorite.

I've never crocheted with chenille yarn before, so this was a first for me! This yarn is so amazing and it's super, super soft. I would definitely buy it again. It's 100x better than Bernat Blanket. It is a bit more expensive and yes, there's less of it. But if you've ever worked with Bernat Blanket, you know how terrible that yarn is. I refuse to work with it anymore! I used this yarn to make an amigurimi candy shaped pillow, using a 5.0mm crochet hook, and it worked beautifully with it. I also didn't have a single skein of this yarn come with a knot in it, unlike Bernat Blanket!

Perfect yarn for amigurumi plushies. Be careful doing a magic ring. I tighten after two stitches, then two again and then the final two. Otherwise yarn may break. I work a little slower so less chance of errors because it does not frog well.

I had to figure out a different way than normal to start and finish my amigurumi because this yarn just doesn't hold up to tightening a magic ring or sewing an ending hole closed. Once you get working with it, the yarn is soft and easy to see your stitches. It works up fast and looks great! It's difficult to frog if you make a mistake because the fibers will strip out of the main threads and you'll be left with a bare spot in the yarn. Just go slow and careful. The colors are just perfect for my gummy worms. Knowing what I know about this yarn, I will definitely buy more, but I will stick to simple designs to avoid needing to pull the yarn through itself like in sewing appendages on.

I've ordered this from Premier Yarn several times now. It is always a great experience. The package arrives quickly. There's so many colors to choose from for different projects. There's a bit of a learning curve to working with the bulkier yarn (or at least there was for me), but now I find it really easy to work with. I'll continue buying this for my crochet projects.

I am new at crocheting and have tried several yarns which were recommended by notable You Tube crocheters. About the only negative thing I have to say is it took two weeks to get the yarn, so I wasn't very pumped up about it to begin with. Next time I will order before I need it to compensate on the delivery time. I immediately started crocheting a turtle I was working on with this yarn. I was amazed at how user friendly it is, especially for a beginner. I just zipped through those stitches, which are easy to see. The yarn is very soft and plushy. I really can't compare it to other chenille yarns because I haven't worked with very many. I believe the value is comparable to other good yarns. I tend to use tight stitches, which has caused me trouble with many other yarns, but not this one, I think because it is silky and smooth. I haven't had to frog this yarn so I can't comment on that subject. I will definitely order again.
