Quick, easy, fun game for kids
I love playing this game with my kids, and that's not true of many kid games! It promotes sharing, giving, polite language, and is fun to play. It never takes very long, unlike other games that can potentially drag on. We enjoy being the different characters and switching backpacks for different games. Recommend for ages 4-5 but older kids can enjoy it as well. No reading required and only need to be able to count to 3.

Family favorite!
Bought this for my three year olds birthday, she loves Daniel Tiger. He is a family favorite, my five year old still watches the show. This game is loved by both of my girls, we play it a couple of times a week. Until kindergarten, my oldest would not sit down for a board game, now she actually asks to play. My three year old makes it half-way through the game before she runs off though, shorter attention span. It is a short game start to finish, easily played while water is boiling for dinner or pre-bedtime family time. Super simple instructions, easily understood by both my girls. My only complInts: I wish the pieces weren't cardboard, toddlers are too rough, and the players have suffered. We have started using our plastic Daniel Tiger characters as stand-ins. The spinner is pretty awful as well, but can be made to work properly on a flat surface.

can be played on different levels depending on child's age, but not sure about some lessons it gives
This game was purchased for a 5-year old and a 3-year old that love Daniel Tiger.Since there are multiple routes to take, the game is not all about luck and I like that some strategy could be used. However, I found some of the lessons the game gives are questionable. This is a competitive game with the goal to collect certain items and then arrive first at the finish line. This is easy enough for a 3 year old to enjoy. When landing on a "present" square on the board the player should give one of the other players an item they need (i.e., help them win). The person who gets the gift says "thank you". Well, that's nice, except that the game is competitive, and thus it is a sort of penalty to give others gifts. My 5-year old quickly realized that she should strategically give gifts to the weakest player not because you want to help the weakest gamer but so that the gift will not threaten her own chance to win. She also tried to create coalitions (I gift you, you will gift me in return). These are nice strategic moves, but I do not like the idea of "gift" to be attached to these maneuvers.Other than that, the game looks very attractive and D.T. lovers would love to play with it right away. Warning: They also would want to 'free-play" with the figurines and the city. The game components themselves are very well designed, sturdy pieces, high quality. HOWEVER, there is no packaging helping to keep all the small pieces in place, so we use small zip bags to keep them from falling between the cardboard cracks in the layering of the box.The kids played with it a lot for a few weeks but then got tired of it. The Busy Town game remained the most popular.

Well loved game!
I purchased this game for my 4 year old grandson to play with at my house. With all the games we have, I have to askhim to play and he seems like he is playing it to please me so, we never play any one game more than one time duringthe day. With this game he actually asks to play and wants to play it multiple times a day. The graphics are great, thegame board is easy to understand, it is constructed very well from thick cardboard, and the directions are easy to follow.I would definitely recommend this game for children as young as 3. Well worth the price so, I may have to get anotherone for his house!

Fun game for kids
My 4 year old loves it. Simple to set up and play. Teaches gifting and taking turns. The board came apart at one of the seems pretty quickly. But, a quick line of duct tape and we were back in action.

Great for their first board game!
Simple rules to follow, quality is decent even though my 3 year old already ripped the board apart by being too rough while unfolding it by himself.

Super Cute game!
This is a super cute game. I played with my 3 year old. The concept of choosing a path is still a little young for her but she goes along with it. Gifting prizes to each other is cute concept/moral and a good way to expedite the game if needed 😆 my daughter loves the standup store buildings. They could have left that out but they didn't, so that adds appeal I think! it's cute that everyone collects things for their backpack. Different concept than any other game I've seen so far! So this is very cute. We love it.
