Really good laptop
I bought this as a business laptop and have been incredibly happy with it. It’s the right size for me, the screen is great and the battery has lasted sufficiently long when I’ve been outside my home office. My next laptop purchase will be using this laptop as a very positive benchmark.

Good work laptop
I love this laptop, it's lightweight and quick with its 16GB ram. For work purposes, it is functional and rapid with its responses. I have no complaints about its efficiency. There is a slight issue with the screen which causes it to blackout after a certain amount of time, which has nothing to do with the sleep mode, however, I have found that leaving it for a few minutes to cycle it rights itself. The battery life is okay, while not as long as favoured, I understand with a higher processing speed, the battery is going to take a hit, it normally lasts between 3-5 hours with using Microsoft office. It is a lovely lightweight laptop, easy to travel with and quick to load up.The advertisement is a little misleading for the black edition of this laptop, suggesting it has a backlit keyboard when it doesn't. It's not a massive issue but when paying as much as you do for this laptop you expect to get what it tells you.All in all, the pros of this laptop outweigh the cons, if you want something fast and reliable then it's definitely worth the investment.

Brilliant Laptop. Very Fast
Vivobook is quick, functional and not overloaded with annoying bloatware. Set up was straightforward and painless. The machine comes configured with Windows 10 and is ready for Windows 11 if you are. Screen resolution is sharp and colours are vibrant. I purchased the black laptop, so had no problem with the keyboard. After 1 week, I'm very pleased with it, very fast, and it is certainly an improvement on my Lenevo laptop. No hesitation in recommending it.

BitLocker Encrypted
Love the product, only issue I had was that after an update the computer required a BitLocker key. After lots of head scratching and phone calls to ASUS and Amazon (without being resolved), I remembered that I had an old Microsoft account. Once I remembered the account, logged in and got the key, all came good.My point is that nowhere in the description of the laptop does it mention about BitLocker and making sure you have a Microsoft account.Apart from that, love the laptop, sound, graphics, and keyboard strength make this a perfect laptop for video, streaming, working, and general entertainment.

Sorry for ASUS
Ok - I need to be fair here. The ASUS element of the product is....OK. The screen is excellent, for the price point it's not bad - a bit clunky maybe - but not bad.The problem is Windows. I am a MAC user. I had to buy this to support some software I need to use for a work project that isn't MAC compatable on the new MacBooks with Apple chips.I'm appalled to see that - in the 15 years since I've used Windows (and I used to work in IT many years ago) - Windows is actually worse. Far far far worse. It's simply incredulous that they can't get even the basics right.Nothing works without having to search for bug fixes. I mean - NOTHING! Even the Windows Store App doesn't work which is ironic becuase it seems to me they're constantly trying to sell me stuff. In a final irony - the so called 'trouble-shooting' app doesn't work either. It just hangs there doing nothing. Who ever designed this operating system should be taken out and shot - it is simply not fit for purpose and absolutely should not be deployed to retail customers with no IT experience. From a sales point of view Amazon - this is advertised as coming with Windows 11. Unfortunately - the version of Windows 10 you have supplied this with is so buggy - there is little or no chance that I will be able to update to Windows 11.I don't see as I have any choice but to return the thing as it's not fit for purpose. One last criticism of Asus - don't put overly gummed stickers right next to the track pad. I now have a large area of sticky glue that just can't be removed.Overall verdict - buy a second hand Macbook if you can't afford a new one.

Nice slimline laptop with excellent vibrant screen
So far this has been a very good laptop, with a vibrant screen (as hoped for being OLED). A nice added feature is the numeric keypad. Personally, I like the highlighted enter key as it makes it clear where the keyboard ends and numeric keypad starts.I rarely run on battery only, so can't really say how battery life stacks up.

Great screen quality, good price.
Great laptop with good spec and maybe the best quality screen out there. Proved to be a bit complicated and had a few problems upgrading to Win11 so too difficult for the intended user to operate. Sent back to Amazon who accepted return but is taking quite some time to organise collection, accept the return and refund the item. Can deliver next day but refunds take far too long!A short update for those who may need to return IT products on Amazon. The process is tortuous and lengthy. I arranged a return on 12th of the month and although Amazon support tell me they have received the item, 12 days later I have no refund or any update of delivery status from UPS, nor does the online return status show the item has been received. So while Amazon can indeed deliver quickly, it certainly cannot do the same when you return a high value item such as a PC. Not good enough so I have amended my rating accordingly.

Good all rounder. But...
I returned this. And another ASUS laptop. They all seem to have the same flaw: the touchpad stops working. The screen is great. The specs excellent for the price. It's fast. Battery life is OK, nothing exceptional. Not too much bloatware on it to remove. But those touchpads - so irritating. If ASUS could fix the touchpad (this is the third laptop I've had from ASUS, they all had the same problem) this would be a 5 star review.
