i have a short haired cat and a fluffy cat it worked great on both of them really like it

Did not prove to be efficient at all, barealy removed any hair, and my dog didn’t tolerate it.

Always had difficult time to get my cats to sit for grooming but all 3 of them enjoy this product

I have been using the furminator for the last couple of years but my black cat only tolerated it for a few minutes, and my orange cat for maybe ten seconds. I've been watching a YouTuber (from Niagara area I think..) who was using two other combs. I bought both! I tried to return the Kong minutes after receiving it, as it was not effective. This "hacksaw in a piece of wood" is amazing. My black cat barely moved he loved it so much. I just keep brushing and brushing and all he did was purr... I only stopped when I noticed i was creating a bald spot lol. I do not do many reviews but this one was important to battle any reader who is persuaded by the negative reviews. I think one review said, 'don't hesitate'... and I second that. Buy this if you want to brush your cat to unimaginable softness (lol) and make them happy doing it.

My dog has a short, smooth coat, so regular brushes don't do much. This removed a ton of fur that would have ended up on the couch or the carpet! And the best part is, he thoroughly enjoys it. I've only had it a few days, but as soon as I pick it up he runs to the back door (I brush/comb him outside). Simple, effective, and my pup enjoys it. Worth every penny!

My cat is much smaller than a horse, but this does a decent job! Size is a little awkward as even the small one is kind of big, but that's probably because my cat's not a horse.
