I don’t know about your fur babies, but mine are very picky. They will sit at the bathroom door and scream till they get the water turned on in the bathtub. I can’t tell you how many fountains I’ve bought over the years, either they quit working after just a few months or my cats won’t give it the time of day. And then this came along! I have two now. One of my cats likes the bubblier, the other loves the stream. It’s the closest thing I’ve found that compares to water coming out of a faucet. So now I don’t have to listen to the crying to get into the bathroom!! We have very hard water, every single fountain I have bought will collect grime and feel slimy if you feel the bowl the water flows in to. Not this. I guess it’s the filter, I’ve had these for a few months now and they haven’t turned grimy at all. In fact they are still perfectly clean like the day I got them. Just yesterday I checked out the filter and it was NASTY!! So it does its job. The water coming out is completely clean and fresh, I would have never known that filter was gross. So I took it apart and cleaned it. It took less than 10 mins to clean all the parts. I also love that they give you a few extra filters so you don’t have to worry about buying them right away. Easiest fountain I’ve cleaned. It’s a great size. I couldn’t be happier. One more thing, you can hear it, but it’s very faint. But I don’t mind, it’s very calming. It sounds like a super quiet waterfall or river.

I had this water fountain for the last 4yrs and it’s worked great! My cats loved it! It just stopped working so I ordered another pump ($10) and we’ll see how it goes. The only complaint I have is what’s shown in a picture in another review.. you have to use a toothpick to try to clean the two little holes on the spout. They either need to be taken out or bigger so we can clean them better. Otherwise, I would buy this fountain again!

We’ve tried several other pet drinking fountains over the years, but they always got slimy quickly were a pain in the a** to clean. Saw a review for this fountain on TikTok and thought it looked pretty good so I gave it a chance. Turns out the girl on Tiki wasn’t kind ENOUGH about it! This is a GREAT little fountain! Soooo easy to assemble, and I love the filter pack that pops in just under the top- keeps the water fresh and the slime at bay! I empty and disassemble the fountain every 2 weeks to give it a good wash, and so far every time I do this there is barely ANY slime buildup at all! A very clean system. Our cat loves drinking from it, too, so the water must taste nice and clean. You’ll have to order the replacement filters, but they come in a 4-pack so you don’t have to reorder that often (and they’re not expensive at all). As for the sound, it’s barely audible, but it’s a nice little water fountain sound- quite nice! My ONLY complaint at all is that you have to keep a close eye on the water level; there’s a very faint “MIN” line on the side of the water tank, and if the water drops below that the pump motor could burn out…so it’s not a totally “set it and forget it” fountain. But other than that….totally five stars! Don’t hesitate- order it.

OK, did a lot of research on the best fountain option for a cat that is very particular about how and where and when she sips her agua. I was being kept awake at night by meows from the bathroom because she wanted me to turn the faucet on, and then she'd bend her head down to drink from the stream, get water all over her head, and then shake it off onto my 3am face. Petlibro to the rescue. Now, it took some getting used to when I presented it. Didn't quite get it at first, but after refusing to turn on the water for her and pointing her toward the fountain, she tried it out, took about a week. First she had the option of drinking from the bowl, and splashed around with her paw. After some weeks she prefers the stream that comes from the spout. Now she loves it. I have it on my bathroom sink so she still feels like she's drinking from the sink. But now she can drink whenever, never wakes me up anymore, and the thing is super quiet, no motor or water sound. CLEANING: This thing collects dust and also stray litter from her paw. So you have to clean it as you would your own Brita filter. Good thing is, it's all super easy to take apart and scrub off quickly. The filters get full/dirty surprisingly quickly. I run them through hot water and scrub off as much as possible, but I still need to replace them once a month. They recommend every two weeks, but one drawback is the filters are very pricey, so make sure it is in your budget. It's like cheap printer and expensive ink replacements. QUALITY: 5 stars, no complaints, works great.
