I buy these like most families buy bottled water. You have to understand that I am a foster parent, and one of the things we do right away is get the new kiddos a small, simple tablet to help with anxiety. We previously bought the Amazon fire tablets, but for the small price increase, you get a much much much better tablet with the Samsung. The screens are bullet proof, battery is rock solid, runs an android os which means there is a wide variety of apps and controls available. Our oldest one is going on 2 years and it gets used, and I mean used heavily. The battery is still lasting more than 8 hours, the touch screen is worn in the heavy use areas but still working fine. The cases are widely available and cheap. I think the cases I buy for them are $10.00. If you need one right away, the Amazon renewed service is great. Those tablets are easily as good as the brand new ones and we haven't had any issues. I purchased these brand new on a black friday deal for $98.00. At that price, we stock up and get several. We also run Google Family link and that control app is seamless between these tablets and my iPhone 13. You just have to open a google email for the kids. Couldn't be happier and will continue to purchase.

We bought this for our 8 year old for Christmas. He had a 12 year old iPad 2 that quit updating, so he couldn’t play any current games and most just stopped working. Consequently, he didn’t take care of it and broke the screen, so we purchased this tablet before forking out the money for another iPad. I am an apple snob, but I actually really like the tablet. It’s not as aesthetic as an iPad/iphone, but has all the same apps (Minecraft, among us, Roblox,) that kids are obsessed with and the screen is very high resolution. Our child is very pleased with it. It does lag some, but you can expect that paying $100 vs $500+. Overall, great kids tablet, definitely faster than the kindle fires.

This is the second A7 Lite we have purchased. The other one is over a year old and is working just fine. This one is an "extra" for the bedroom.We are not power users but do play some games which can test the graphics processor and memory. There have been no issues, the speed is fine, it only heats up a little with those games, the touch screen works well, and the "bloatware" from Samsung is not excessive. The screen size and weight make this an optimal choice for reading e-books, browsing, and doing other hand-held chores. If we were planning on increasing the graphics usage and downloading lots of apps, we would have opted for more memory, perhaps the 64 to 128 GB version but this works very well for us. If needed, we can install a micro-SD card for more memory now that Google is once again allowing app transfer to SD cards. We certainly recommend this tablet.

I ordered this for a navigation app for my RV. I needed something smaller so it doesn't obstruct my view when mounted to the dash. The SD card got lost inside of the first one and I had to return it for a replacement. Not happy to lose my SD card and have to buy another one. The replacement did not "eat" my SD card. The set up was easy, but the Quick Start Guide was pathetic. Only shows how to charge it. So far, the response and sound has been good. It does take some time to start up when you first turn it on. It has an adequate charge speed. I am not sure of battery life, as we have not taken a long trip yet to see if it holds up during real time use.

This tablet is very user friendly. Awesome deal from Amazon. Personal experience with this product has truly helped me complete a wide range of tasks including planning, scheduling, organizing, and order processing. Product is lightweight and can easily fit into my carrier or even a small tote bag. Very handy strap allows for more freedom in carrying other items on my shoulder alongside this product. The color of my tablet is true to description and charging the tablet is simple. The sound is very clear and the volume can be adjusted. I am very excited to have this experience with the tablet. Very satisfied with my tablet. I can take it with me and no worry about the weight of this product. This will make a great gift for anyone. The screen is very clear and of high quality. I would recommend this tablet to everyone.

We got this tablet for our oldest daughter on her 5th birthday. It has been about a month all of us really enjoy this tablet. There is a special kids feature that locks everything on the tab except allowed apps. We used fire tablets for the last 3 years. They were good for what they were but the user interface was confusing and clunky. Instead of showing you the apps you have it shows you the apps you can download, this resulted in the machine slowing down, the space filling up, and a slew of other complications. With this tablet we can download apps on the adult profile, and then add it to the kids profile that way everything she sees is what she can use. The camera is far superior with cool kids features for them to have fun. The only downside is this does not allow sim cards and it is wifi only.

I purchased this for my mother who is in her eighties and I didn't want her to have to deal with something too complicated. It's not complicated but she is so it did not work out so well for her so now it's mine. I got it on sale for $120 and it's well worth it. It is slightly slow but it is also Android 11 (Can update to 13) and you could put an SD card in it. It does have a headset Jack which is good also. I consider it a low end tablet but due to the fact that it is the Samsung brand makes me feel it's stable. If you just want to watch videos and do a few things it's perfect. I have not tested it for games because that's not who I am but for streaming video you get hours and hours if you set the brightness to about 25%. I had no issue with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. I'm not sure if it's worth $160 which I believe is the regular price but it is a name brand so I would recommend it to anyone who just needs a basic tablet and you won't be disappointed.

It's ok. Samsung setup app keeps failing. Slow. Battery seems fine. Will look elsewhere for next bedside tablet.YMMV.
