I started using this gel approximately 4 months ago and it has worked wonders. Sometimes when you find that one product that works you stick with it. I have done so and thank the Lord In did that. The cream goes on easily and if you follow the directions your wounds will heal also. Do not worry about any smell, it's a unique odor but lets you know its working. I often don't write reviews but when I do, let me tell you it is everything it claims to be and more. Buy this you will be fully thankful also.

This is a very soothing ointment. I've been using it on my elbows that were scraped raw, and it has provided more benefits than the antibiotic ointment I've been using. It also helps tone down the pain when I move my arm. I think the pain relief is more due to the overall soothing/moisturizing/barrier benefits rather than an actual pain killer in the ointment but regardless, it feels better when I use this. I don't know if the antibacterial properties of this ointment are as good as the triple antibacterial creams, but so far so good.It is thick, but spreads pretty easily, and the tub container makes it easy to pull out what's needed with minimal wastage. The only issue I've had is the scent -- or rather, smell. It's an odd smell - sort of medicinal, but also sort of similar to used motor oil as well. It's not a knock you down type of smell, but it certainly is not pleasant either, especially when used at night.Although it performs well enough to look past -- or smell past -- the scent, I'll still decrease my score by one star due to that issue. Otherwise, a multi-purpose ointment to make minor injuries even more minor.

I am a sucker for a miracle cure for a large open wound I've been hospitalized for -- I just want it to heal.So I was willing to pay the outrageous price. But, I applied it first to some skin so dry it bleeds, then covered with a cotton bandage overnight. The results, with all due respect to all the rave reviewers, assuming they are legitimate, indicated that this is nothing more wonderful than congealed sesame oil with some herbs tossed in. My issues:1. It makes you smell like toasted sesame oil.2. When I use it as directed on some skin overnight it does next to nothing to heal the skin.3. When applied a second day, it again makes an oily film, stinks, and does not help heal the bleeding wounds. It only slightly ameliorated the rough skin, as indeed any vegetable oil would do.You'd be better off, if you believe in such natural remedies, to buy sesame oil and apply it yourself. I am glad I did not apply it to my large open wound -- I have no evidence from the packaging whether this is created in sterile conditions or in someone's kitchen, and I am terrified of reinfecting this wound. I am returning this product, and kudos to Amazon for taking it back.

This product does what it says, and I am satisfied with how it is working on me. I think it is worth what we pay for it and it is a quality product as far as I can tell. I do think you will receive positive benefit from its use. This is a "BUY" recommendation.

I used this product for 2 weeks and no tremendous improvement for it to be too expensive. The smell is strong but tolerable. If you can handle the smell of vicks you should be OK with this smell.

My wife has been using this for her legs ever since I found this product on Amazon. It works so well we have purchased it several times as a wound cream.. Her doctor noticed how well her legs have improved and asked her what she was doing. After explaining what she is using he did some searching and was so impressed, he is now recommending this product to his patients with similar problems. The only negative problem I have is the product does not come in larger jars.
