LCSW Clinical Exam Study Guide 2021 and 2022: Social Work ASWB Clinical Secrets Prep, 3 Full-Length Practice Tests, Detailed Answer Explanations: [2nd Edition Book]

I used this among other material to study for my exam, nearly 70% of this book isn't on the exam. The practice test are not like the actual exam, there are a lot of scenario questions.

I just took the $85 official ASWB LCSW practice test, & it was wayyyyy different than any of the practice tests in this book. I’ve spent the last several days memorizing theories & theorists from the book that were no where to be seen on the official practice test. I feel a little tricked by the makers of this book & am wondering how it’s even allowed to be distributed if it’s not even an accurate portrayal of the test. The study material in the book was helpful, so that’s why the 3 stars.

I really liked this study guide as it went into the nitty gritty of how to answers questions-it covered a lot of different topics which MAY appear on the exam. I believe the LCSW is more of how you can take an exam rather than how much "material" you know. This guide helps look at questions from a different lens than you normal would. And to some of the other reviews saying they disagreed with some of the answers-I do to but it's not about what WE THINK is the answer but what the exam has as the answer.

This study guide was worth it! I took my exam today and passed (on the first try)! This was the only physical book I used to study for the exam. The information was sufficient, easy to review, and the practice exams were on the money! I’m so grateful I purchased this.

Bought this for my wife. She said it was very helpful and has the information she needed to help her study for her licensure test

I used this book for review but primarily focused on the practice exams included in the book because mastering understanding of the way questions are asked is key to doing well. I took about 3 months to study at my leisure using this book. Did very limited review outside what was in the book. I scored a 123 and passed with flying colors. Hello LCSW.
