According to the Safety Data Sheet on the Parker and Bailey website, it is 95 to 98 percent Mineral Oil, CAS number 8042-47-5. This is a petroleum based product, not a plant based product.

Q: Can I use Parker and Bailey lemon oil polish on hardwood floors?

I did on a deep scratch on my oak floor and I was super happy with result. Not sure why so many others here say you can’t do it.

Q: Will this penetrate polyurethane or shellac finishes?

No it will not unless shellac or polyurethane very worn.

Q: Is this product “pure, undiluted” lemon oil”?

We did not find it so, it is a lesser quality product from those we have used.
