So this thing is in many ways a "good from far" unit. None of the metallic accents are real (metal appearing veneer on particle board), nor is the "hardwood". Pretty much all components are particle board or MDF with some sort of veneer. As with all such wood products, it is unnecessarily heavy, a bit weak, and prone to warping. Also, the playing field is a bit uneven leading to irregular ball travel at times. The circular pieces that hold the bars in the walls are plastic and a bit sloppy. I suspect they will fail in time. During assembly, I used carpenters glue whenever possible and would recommend doing the same. Speaking of assembly, plan on spending at least 4 or 5 hours.Now for the good stuff:1) It does look nice and feels solid, more than I would expect based on the above. It does not look or feel cheap at all and is a nice compliment in our finished basement.2) The customer service is awesome, I screwed up assembly and I got an immediate response and replacement parts within 5 business days. They were very friendly and helpful.3) Properly assembled, I think this would provide many years of fun in a household environment, though I don't think it would last long in a bar or frat house.So it's not the best. We had a Tornado when I was in college and it's no where near that quality, but those will cost you a good $1500. That said, I doubt you'll find one much better within a $100 or $200 of the price.

If you have never played on a nice foosball table and do not need or hope for a nice table then go ahead and get this one and save your money. Assembly was not overly difficult, but it did take several hours (approximately 5 hours). For example, I believe there are about 37 sections of wood (particle board) on this table (7 on each leg). It was missing a part and the ball catcher was completely damaged so some extra time was required trying to make it work so it could be out for the young'ens on Christmas morning. We'll have to see how easy the replacement parts are to get. The table is not very solid, nor are the components and the bars. The bars are hollow and very flimsy with a lot of flex. Unfortunately, after staying up until 3:00 a.m. Christmas morning to get it put together I will now be trying to sell it and upgrade to a better table. Good Luck!

Nice quality table. I must have missed the part about putting it together though:) It came with a lot of pieces. My husband had to trade out some of the plastic brackets for metal ones. The plastic ones broke as they were putting it together. He is a handy guy so it actually worked out better to put metal brackets on. That would be our only complaint. Just put good metal hardware on instead of plastic pieces. This was a gift for our kids and now that its together I would say it is very sturdy and will last us a long time. Very happy with the purchase.

This was a Christmas gift for my boys. They lover and I'm gold after all the time it took to put together. Only complaint is some of the area for the goal/ball return doesn't line up. But they don't notice it.

I love this product! It was a great buy for the price, it's big enough for teens, kids, and adults. A great addition to my game/recreation room. Not difficult to put together my family and friends enjoy it.

This foosball table is so much better than we expected. We had to hire someone to put it together because there are a lot of parts.

Took about 3 hours to put it all together! And the goals were difficult to put in, but all else was not ok bad but very laborious.

Lots of family fun! Leg materials could be better built but it's a good table for the price.
