I was reading through the reviews for this pillow case and I see that many people complained about how stiff and rough this pillowcase is.(probably cause of the starch...) When I got this pillowcase, like all other fabric items I get, I WASHED it first. I used detergent and also a bit of softener. And it was fine! My normal ikea comforter set is only 144 thread count so I figured 180 should be relatively around the same.I got this cover to go over my 20" x 54" Pinzon Body Pillow I got from Amazon. The pillow came with a cover but I wanted one to go over it. I like that its a black cover so that the fade will not be obvious in the future. It fits perfectly over my pillow and leaves 2-3 inches of space so that the pillow doesn't get exposed.I love this pillowcase and would love to give it 5 stars, but I took off 1 star because I have a feeling they raised the price. As seen in the photo the original pricing on the package is 9.99 and they just slapped a label on top and called it a day...

Did YOUR friend drunkenly buy you a Tom Hiddleston body pillow? Do you never want people to see that in your home but don't have the heart to throw out an expensive gift? Do you secretly enjoy it? Any/all of the above? Well, good news: this pillowcase is here to save you!It's okay for the price. Fit perfectly on a normal-sized body pillow, and I personally didn't find mine to be scratchy at all. I got black, and it's a nice, even color that hasn't rubbed off any dye on my sheets, wall, etc. It's only a few bucks, you get it in a few days, and it's machine washable. Can't go wrong.

Had to wash it immediately upon opening. The odor was overwhelming.Removed it from the dryer and it was covered with everything my lint catcher didn't get!Not soft at all. If you have dust or pets or anything besides a sterile environment, do not waste your money.This is going in the rag bag.

I ordered the silver, and it's WAY lighter in person, almost white -- to the degree that I almost thought I got the wrong color until I read the packaging. And it's not really soft at all... I haven't washed it yet so hopefully it'll soften up but it's not just stiff from starch, it feels rough to the touch, so we'll see. It's also a little too big for my body pillow which isn't the end of the world but isn't ideal.

This case fit my body pillow perfect. However it was not even close to the color described. I ordered the Grey option but when it arrived it was more of a super light blue with a hint of grey. Luckily it still matched my bedding enough that I didn't feel the need to return it. Probably amounts to a 200 thread count. Which I expected at this price.

Much lighter color than the picture. A little too small for my pillow so I really have to stuff it in. And the worst part-collects dog hair like a magnet! I end up not even using my pillow. I’ll be buying another cover.

Within a week of use, there are those scratchy/bumpy pilling on the fabric. It took me a good half hour with a pumice stone to get most of them off. Definitely not worth the $10+ price tag. I've spent the same amount on other body pillow cases and gotten much better fabric.

The pillow I ordered is much narrower than expected. So, now I am looking for a pillow to match this pillow case. The case is perfect - great color, washed well, and is soft.

A wonderful body pillow and the most luxurious pillow case I've ever owned. The pillow is quite full and firm and keeps its shape. The pillowcase is so soft, smooth and comfortable that it feels like a cloud. Highly recommend as a good value and a great body pillow.

Fits the new extra long foam pillow perfectly. It's soft and comfortable. The pillow now belongs to my husband and he has fallen in love with it and likes it so much better with the pillow case on it.I just ordered and received another one so we have an extra on laundry day. Good pillowcase.

Pillow puffed right up after unwrapping, and my husband loves the fluffy height, says it doesn’t collapse under his weight!

I won’t recommend this item. It’s very thin. A pillow protector has a better quality. After 2 days of use, the thread started to come off. Expensive yet the quality is very cheap.

The fabric was scratchy and not the quality I expected. I returned it.
