i dont know the diameter but it was not stretchy at all.

I don’t know what a Tex number is.

Q: Is this thread made of 100% cotton?

There is no cotton or any other natural fiber in this thread. I found it difficult to work with, stretching and shredding easily. Better results using regular thread on a small zigzag setting.
