I've used this product several times and I'm very satisfied. The coating makes it super easy to shred cheese as well as clean it afterwards. The rubber ring at the bottom can be removed easily so no gunk build up, and the container holds a fair amount of cheese. I definitely recommend it!Update: I've been using this thing for nearly 4 years now and it is still fantastic. Still is sharp, cheese slides across smoothly, and still is super easy to clean. The coating is still intact and looks nearly the same as the day I first got it. I definitely recommend and think it is well worth the money.

Super nice grater, very sturdy, easy to clean and sharp. Love the 3 cup container that comes with it. When used with the container is kind of tall so if you’ll be using it for a while I recommend setting it on a lower table so is ergonomically correct and don’t injure yourself. I totally recommend it!

This grater works ok for the price. To me, it is slightly flimsy. It sort of caves in a little during grating cheese. But the several different graters is nice to have in one product.

Some things the picture & video helped me to purchase was the sturdiness of the product and the small container to catch the shavings.Mostly I bought it to grate carrots, instead of spending the extra at the supermarket to buy packaged grated carrots. It does an awesome job of doing that. Only problem, as I am grating a carrot, it gets all over the place. Fortunately I have a large poly-board to catch it, but I would rather have all the gratings fall in the plastic bucket, which fits in the bottom of the grater. As with any grater, you're not going to be able to grate the whole carrot, unless you want your knuckles looking like you were in a fight! 😊Not taking a star off because I prolly need more practice!It also has several options to grate and grind. Out of all the graters I shopped, this one seemed to fit what the ideal version should be.

Aesthetics aside, this this is very versatile offering 6 different cutting surfaces. Whatever the black coating is, it keep the tool cleaner. The edges are real sharp and have pulled this out quite a few times to make short work of grating things. Its a little bit on the bigger side as grater go but that's that's small concession considering how well it works!
