This rain jacket was perfect for my trip to Ecuador during the rainy season. Fit (I got a medium, my usual size) is a bit looser than expected but that was great since I had the option to wear layers comfortably under it. A small probably could have worked but I have broader shoulders so I think the medium was a good choice. The drawstring to tighten at the waist is an appreciated feature and helps the jacket look more structured and flattering. My travel partner got the same jacket and loved hers too! I had no issues with rain soaking through and even walked under a waterfall with no issues.

Loved the light weight, the way it can fold down to almost nothing, and the way it keeps the wind from coming through. It’s also good at keeping body heat in (almost too good). The downside—it doesn’t keep you dry. I wore in in a moderate to light rain and when I took it off my shirt was decidedly damp.

Tried this raincoat for the first time this morning in a steady rain. Walked the dog for 30 minutes. All my clothing was dry where the raincoat covered, but I am tall, so it hits at mid-thigh in front. The long tail in back would be great for sporting events to save you from sitting on wet bleachers. I do wish the hood had a bill on it, because I wear glasses, which I had to remove about 10 minutes in. Next time I will wear a ball cap under the hood. The raincoat is very lightweight and comfortable with no insulation. I usually wear L or XL. I got the larger size so I could wear a sweater under it for cooler weather, which should work out well.

This product is rather light. Not much support on a rainy day. Gets soaked really fast. Maybe, ok for a very light rain. Missed dead line to return product.

Great quality material. It is literally the perfect light weight jacket and great to keep in the car or to throw in your suitcase when traveling. The tie at the waist is great because it actually gives you a little shape as compared to other jackets that are very boxy.

This jacket is perfect for what I wanted. I wanted a light weight, comfortable material, not heavy or rigid or loud. I ordered the yellow, and it definitely helps me stand out when I'm walking my dog on a rainy day. I haven't tested it in super hard rain yet, but I'll update if I notice any issues.

For this being sold as a “raincoat” I have to say it definitely failed in that regard. I wore this in a straight up downpour and got soaked.I was so excited when it first arrived because the fit was nice and flattering and the back was extra long. But my entire shirt was soaked through underneath, and that was all zipped up with the hood on.If you’re looking for a lightweight jacket with a cute cut, this is for you. But if you’re looking for any protection from rain or other water, keep searching.
