I have spent quite some time looking for a shoe shelf/bench for a small spot in my kitchen garage entryway. I finally ordered this because I just didn't feel like I would find what I really wanted and was more or less just settling on this to fill the space. Well, without knowing it, this was exactly the bench I wanted. It is sturdy, fashionable, and fits perfectly. I can't believe how perfect this bench is. Heck, even my son likes it. The only issue was that one of the locking "cogs" was broken and would not lock. It does not affect my usage - just put it in a spot that would not be taking much weight. My suggestion to the company would be to always include an extra screw/locking cog, etc to cover such instances.

We love our new sit and pull shoes on and off. Specially during this winter snow season.The wood tone is beautiful, shoes spaces are great. Even a slot for my husband's boots. Lift the seat and store gloves, scarfs, and etc.Easy to assemble. Even a screw driver was included.This is heavy. Very sturdy. No wiggle anywhere. A great piece of furniture.Great value for the money. User friendly.

This is what we needed to keep our shoe area organized. For me it was a bit challenging to put together as my husband is the one who usually will put together. He was at work and I could not wait to see it set up. The instructions are clear and the video was helpful. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

It looks OK and is pretty sturdy. Some of the pieces are chipped coming out of the box. Calling it Wooden is a stretch, it's a wood like material but not wood. It does serve its function but it's probably $50 more than it should be.

First, the day of delivery it noted that my package was lost in transit. It stayed lost in transit for another week a half. During that time I spoke with 4 different Amazon customer representatives who fed me lies about my package. I was finally able to order a replacement which was also 3 days late on the delivery date. It was a terrible experience. When I finally do get my package, this bench is so small. Yes I measured prior to ordering, but measuring and actually seeing it are two different things. You can barely fit any shoes in there. Unless you have very small shoes, this bench is a waste of your time.

Looks nice but designed for a one- or two-person household. Two is stretching it. Would be great in a kid's room if there is floor space. The bench is made of highly compressed glued wood with lamination for looks. I would not get it wet. Nothing is made from 100% real wood anymore. It was easy to assemble with the picture instructions. There is a #3 small-handled screwdriver included. I used one of my own because of the better gripping, handling while using. We are about 80% pleased with it. Going to put in a bedroom or upstairs landing since it has a cushioned bench and purchase a larger capacity bench advertised through Wal-Mart.
