OK, the facts first - I am a 55 year old guy who started golfing at 40. Took a few lessons, love the game, don't do it enough to get really good but love playing it. Have never broken 100 for a score so I am not your expert in terms of club quality etc. I inherited a set of steel clubs from my Father-in-Law when I started playing and they must have been 15 years old then - yes, I was probably playing with ~30 year old clubs.Now the stuff that worth reading, as I get closer to retirement I am playing more. My wife also started playing so I needed to get her a good set of clubs for someone learning. Decided to order a set for myself. Did the research and found this set on Amazon. Many positive reviews so I gave them a shot.They arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. The bag is super-functional and nice & light. Took the clubs out on a great little course and just LOVED them. I'm new to the large head driver but after a couple of swings I had it down. First tee shot on the 1st hole and the ball sailed straight and further than I normally drive it.Really focused on trying as many clubs as I could over the next 4 rounds and just love how they feel and work. I am going to take some additional lessons to work on my mechanics but adore these clubs.Many of our friend (who play wayyyy more than we do) insist that the only way to buy clubs is to go to Roger Dunn and be fitted, etc. etc. - I can see doing that if you play more than I do and are better than I am. Plus it's probably twice the money. Don't get me wrong - those that have done it with RD that I know swear by it and that's fine.If you are a hacker like me that just loves golf and tries to steadily improve this is a GREAT set of clubs. Dealer was great and checked in regularly with me.Can't go wrong - I highly recommend. Thanks!

So they seem pretty nice, however, the very first time I used the driver, the face COLLAPSED(see PIC)!Okay, the set is nice to a certain extent. It has pretty much any club you'd need plus the bag (although cheaply made but still functional). I know they are cheapos but I did want/expect them to last at least through one season, not just one session at the range.I will say that the irons are just fine and actually quite nice. The long clubs all seem nice and shot well but when I used the driver, in less than a dozen hits....the face crumpled. I'd love to say that I am just a beast and the average equipment can't contain me....but I'm pretty sure I am just regular guy. If you can see the marks on the face, the dent actually occurred IN THE SWEET SPOT!!It gets worse. I emailed the seller (Precise Golf co.) showing and explaining the issue. They did write back, but it was three sentence response informing me they will check inventory and appreciate my patience...??? No contact info, not even a name of the person that wrote the reply, no instructions on what I need to provide, not information on what they plan to do(if anything), no letterhead, no office hours, etc. Just an email address that uses AOL....(raises my eyebrow).Anyways, they are decent but don't expect them to be long lasting or professional grade at all. Ultimately I'd say they are disappointment just because a problem developed on the first day of use. Buy them but with LOW expectations.

I'm only writing this review so that people who are looking for a set aren't misinformed. There seems to be the notion that the driver in this set is bad quality, but I've been using this driver at the rage for about 15 total hours this week, probably around 1,500 balls or more and this golf club seems to show no sign of slowing down, its not as fragile as some would Make it out to be. It looks good, it sounds good, it feels good. The iorns are also solid in this set very nice. Additionally nobody is talking about the putter, no pictures in listing either. And I'm happy to report its very nice, perfectly weighted at least for me and my playstyle. It's also full matte black with accents that are red and silver. It's a very very nice set especially for the money. If you're on the edge but worried about build quality, don't be ive even let people who've never swung a club use a few of my clubs including the driver and they're pretty good at taking a beating. Highly advise

I am 6'4'' and never knew that there are clubs for tall people. I purchased this set on Amazon "In Tall" and my game improved dramatically the first time on the course. It was very noticeable. The Clubs are high quality, look great and perform excellent. Not to mention the great value as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I ordered this set of clubs after doing quite a bit of research on affordable clubs for beginner/intermediate players. First things first, the shipping was great. I ordered these late Sunday night with the free shipping option and it said they would come sometime in the next 6-12 days, however they showed at my door Tuesday night (2 days). They were packaged very well and everything was in perfect condition. I immediately took them to the range and hit a decent amount of balls with the driver and most of all the other clubs as well. The feel of every club was perfect and hit very well. I am 5’11-6’0 and the regular size is perfect for me. These clubs look great and hit great. I highly recommend these clubs to anyone looking for an affordable and great set of clubs.

It was (way past) time for a new set of clubs. I had recently been injured on my left side and wanted a set of clubs that may be more forgiving with my now limited swing. This set was the perfect solution. I took them to the range and tried out my new swing with the new clubs and every single club felt good. I hit them straight and while I knew my distances would change, they didn't change much. In fact, I will probably score better keeping them in the fairway and a little shorter. I need to get used to the 24 hybrid, but I think it will replace my long irons just fine. The bag and putter are very nice as well. Good bargain.

I bought this set for my Son for his 15th birthday. We went and played 9 holes yesterday, it was a beautiful day. And the clubs and bag feel really nice. I feel like it was an excellent value.

Be careful! It's difficult to find a brand name on this product. I searched for "Wilson Deep Red", but the link went straight to these clubs which are made by a company called "Precision". Whilst they are perfectly adequate for my limited needs, you are not grabbing a bargain by finding Wilson Deep Red at a significantly lower price that for what they are sold at American Golf.I spoke to Amazon about this; they were apologetic and offered a refund.

Very nice set of clubs, excellent value for money and a good replacement for my tired old set. If you are an occasional player, I play off 18 handicap, look no further, don’t waste your money on known branded sets. Used a couple of times already.

The putter is abit rubbish. Broke after 5 holes. Other then that solid golf set perfect for any beginner

Really good clubs

I'm 6'2" and was using a standard set of clubs. 2 different people remarked that my clubs looked too short. I purchased these and have already noticed an improvement in my game. I'm so glad I bought these and highly recommend them. My only complaints are that a 5 hybrid would have been nice and the harness on the bag is quite thin - I sold the bag and opted for a cart bag.
