My 11 year old niece said she wanted a mermaid tail blanket for Christmas so I hunted around to find the cutest one and I chose this one. I have never heard such high-pitched squeals of glee in all my life. I'm ecstatic that she's so happy, but damn. My poor ears are still ringing.The colors are beautiful and the fabric is so soft! The blanket does come with a warning tag that states not to use the damn thing as a potato sack and hop around the house in it (yes, that's a bit paraphrased) and even though I know she can read, and I kept telling her not to do it, what 11 yr old will listen? The good news is, she loves it so much, she refuses to vacate the mermaid blanket for any reason other than using the bathroom. The bad news is, I'm totally going to get blamed when she finally does slip and knock out her front teeth.All in all? Yes. Buy this one. Just wear ear plugs when the recipient opens the present. Shattered ear drums are no fun.

I don’t know why people say not big enough, I’m 5”7 and 130 lbs and it comes up to my chest with my feet in the tail. I was put off bc after opening there is something stiff and nasty on the left side where the pink and orange colors meet. I don’t know what it is but it must be a sticky liquid that hardened bc the fabric is stiff! That said, it’s big and super soft, I’m going to wash it and hope whatever is on the material washes off. Just as soft inside as out. Ito make it fit fright my feet have to be in the fin (which is closed) so the rail doesn’t fan out nice like some of the other open finned options but I wanted it to be soft and warm and got both!

This Blankie Tail Mermaid Tail blanket is so cute and soft. It was for a 9 yr-old who is very tall and thin. After receiving it, I thought it would be too big so I ordered the Blankie Tail in the child’s size and let her choose which one she wanted. She liked the smaller one—especially the sparkles. So, I returned the larger one. They were both as cute as can be.

I love the rainbow ombre one. It does not look nearly as saturated are defined as in the photo (more pastel and slightly faded). However I personally like the softer coloration more. It feels very soft on the outside and mostly that way on the interior. I can see this being really useful when sitting on cold days when it becomes more tricky to cover your feet completely with a normal blanket. Either way my fantasy loving self enjoys letting her inner mystical being shine with this product.

The colors are great; it's the right size for a ten year old - she loved it!

I bought this for my (tall) seven year old daughter’s birthday. It’s very soft, comfortable, and durable. She will be able to continue to use this through the years. Great gift for girls!

It is really cute but the fabric is a bit thinner than I expected for the price. It also had a smell when I got it. Washed and dried. The smell went away. The size is perfect and I do like that the fins are lined.

Nice gift. But a bit cheap material for the cost I expected it to be heavier material.

Not sure what the complaints about being too small are. I am a size 16-18 and it fits perfectly, it comes right up to my chest and is not tight. Also, I am 5"8!Try it and love it like I do.

Unsere Tochter hat die Decke zum Geburtstag bekommen und ist sehr begeistert. Die Farben sind sehr schön und die Decke ist super kuschelig, auch nach ein paar Wäschen hat sich nichts daran geändert. Unsere kleine Meerjungfrau ist sehr glücklich damit😁
