Value for money, nice appearance.

The material quality is good. But, key and lock mechanism is not smooth to operate. Sometimes, key is getting stuck inside the keyhole. Sometimes, the same is not rotating. Glitches are there. Otherwise, its a value buy for the given price.

Good quality

The powder coat finish of the letter box is good , a couple of reasons why I didn't rate this a 5 star - sturdiness , looks good from the exterior , but when I fixed this using a clamp on my gate and tightened it (perhaps with slightly excessive optimism than should have been) , the frame seemed to slightly fall apart. This could be due to a bad welding spot, hopefully a rare instance among the rest of us. - it would help to provide a set of clamps that can be used for most gates. I used a couple of pipe clamps ( used to fix water pipes to a wall ). Most house gates would be metallic and having a screw to fix this may not be a feasible solution. I would expect that it would save some trouble for the person fixing the box.

sturdy

The lock quality is superb. Stores at least 10 letters at least at a time. Size is just right and looks like vintage item. I am not sure about rust resistance though as I have hung it atop the gate outside that is prone to rains and rough weather.
